I was referred to pain management (internal medicine) I guess by my doctor! I was sent to 4d i believe. The doctor lied and told me he couldn’t write me any pain meds which was a lie! I had X-rays done and a few of them show I’m really in pain!all the doctor kept speaking of was poking me with something! Acupuncture, steroid shot, lidocaine shot etc!! I explained that I didn’t want to get poked with any needles due to me passing out getting a steroid shot!! I’m in so much pain in burnt out on Tylenol muscle relaxers gabapentin! I asked for stronger meds so I can get rest at night Basically you have to cry to be in pain smh. The doctor was rude to me telling me to buy all this different stuff. I was only given two prescriptions for topical cream which one was over the counter smh!! I have have plenty of creams as it is at home! After going back and forth due to frustration from always being in pain The doctor Rudely told me I have other patients to see like I’m not important nor like my insurance isn’t paying!he rudely stormed out the door telling me have a nice day!!so what was my point of driving to parkland moody clinic 4th floor 40 mins in traffic and pouring rain for nothing? They don’t care about your pain even if they can see it on xray!! I’m overly frustrated that’s why I stopped dealing w parkland 2016 when I had a major surgery and they didn’t want to give me proper treatment after!! I had to contact patient advocate smh! I will not! Be returning

Only giving one star to the one lady security who has purple dyed curly hair on top and glasses - moody clinic. I’ve been going to this clinic for years for physical therapy and still come for integrated pain and healing on the fourth floor. She was power tripping and violated my ADA rights. I’ve already been screened with wrist band 3 times one in the PMR Clinic one in the moody clinic. Stayed there waiting on my ride and had gotten coffee at the Starbucks there waiting on my transportation. My ride went the wrong side I went outside to peak then went back through security which is 100% fine. I’m in a rush got pulled to go through my mini back pack which is fine. What was not fine I communicated I can not open my backpack myself due to my hand disability and function. after she demanded rudely for me to open it. I felt pressured, anxious, and violated as well as feeling discriminated because I have neck and some facial tattoos as I noticed no one else with backpacks or purses were getting pulled. Do better parkland on your security. I should not have had my ADA Rights violated, nor treated rudely. Felt very uncomfortable I wanted to go back to get her name and make a complaint but was genuinely uncomfortable to do so. My partner heard the whole interaction and was genuinely upset about this as well.
Parking is not very handicap accessible, you have to wait in line before you even enter the lobby to tell (one!!) employee where you are going, the behavior clinic was over an hour behind. Behavior clinic loudly and publicly sharing private info of patients, and mixing up urine samples. Had to wait for a number like a deli for bloodwork that takes forever, the bathrooms are not handicap accessible, out of soap, and the water fountains don’t work so you have to pay for water from the market
Love the staff and doctors here. They are always willing to take that extra minute to listen to their patients.
They have a bike repair station in the parking garage!! I thought that was cool and unique, much like parklands highly inclusive physicians services. Literally all of my doctors are here at one place and they share an online communications network that is accessible to patients. 🥹 in 26 years of constant medical care, I have never had it so easy.
