I have been going to Morganton eye clinic for approximately four years. I have had many facials and various aesthetic services over the years and Willow is hands-down, the best aesthetician I have ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable not only about various facial procedures, but she is also knowledgeable about the clinical products that she just introduced me to. I will never in my life purchase any other product other than OBAGI and dermalogica. Her facials are clinical, meaning you get real results and they are also very relaxing. I highly recommend her services!!

For several years now, Cole at Morganton Eye Physicians has been quietly performing what I can only describe as optical miracles. On multiple occasions, I have walked into the office carrying a pair of glasses that looked like they had survived a wilderness expedition, a church workday, a river trip, a rock-climbing outing, and possibly a minor conflict with a lawn mower. Somehow, Cole takes these tired, crooked, well-worn glasses and returns them to me fitting so perfectly that I leave wondering if he has a secret workshop in the back staffed by highly trained elves. Cole is always kind. Always knowledgeable. Always professional. And perhaps most impressively, always patient. A few years ago, Morganton Eye Physicians helped me create one of my favorite possessions: a pair of adventure glasses that have accompanied me through church activities, family outings, river adventures, and enough projects to make most eyewear file for retirement. Most recently, Cole helped connect the dots on something I didn't even know I needed—a pair of my favorite Ray-Ban sunglasses... in trifocals. Now, as an older man who occasionally discovers that restaurant menus have mysteriously shrunk and that tiny print seems to have entered a witness protection program, I can once again see near, far, and somewhere in between. The result is more than improved eyesight. Because of Cole's help, I can better enjoy time with my children and grandchildren. I can see details while teaching, serving at church, rock climbing, surfing, paddling rivers, and tackling the next adventure that comes along. Good vision doesn't just help a person see. It helps a person participate. Cole has consistently helped me do exactly that. In a world where excellent customer service sometimes feels endangered, Cole is the real deal—kind, capable, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping people. Morganton Eye Physicians should be proud to have him on their team. Thank you, Cole, for the many adjustments, repairs, recommendations, and moments of kindness over the years. You have helped keep this old adventurer in the game, and I am deeply grateful. Five stars. Highly recommended. And if my glasses ever come back bent again, let's just assume they were injured during important grandparenting activities.
After quite a bit of prodding from my Mom about trying a facial, I finally took her advice and gave it a go. All I can say is I can’t believe it took me 50 years to have one! Willow is amazing and knows exactly what she’s doing. My skin has never looked better and I love having an hour a month just to relax, laugh, look and feel better. For those that maybe on the fence, don’t waste anymore time and book your appointment with Willow - you will not be disappointed!!
The doctors and nursing staff are very nice. Appointments are several months out from time of booking but are sooner than they used to be. During the pandemic, eye Appointments were 6 to 9 months out from the time they were booked ( the soonest avaliable appointment for any eye physician at Morganton Eye). However, they encourage you to call from time to time to check for any cancelations or reschedules and will squeeze you in if they do but only if you call and check regularly. Thats a long wait time. You cant go without glasses that long. Also, while they do accept some forms of medicaid including Amerihealth Caritas, they do not accept all types. They didnt accept any Tailored Plans or Partners Meicaid, which is very unfortunate for me. Our only choices here in Morganton is them at Morganton Eye and Wal-Mart optical shop or to go out of town. Medicaid requires you to see an eye doctor and get glasses at the same location so you cannot just visit any doctor that doesn't have a optical shop on site. We need more eye doctors offices here in Morganton, NC. We need a lens crafters with the eye doctor in store as well. See the doctor and have glasses in one hour? Yes please. Morganton Eye just cant compare. However medicaid glasses take several weeks to come back no matter where you go. But at walmart, i got mine within 7 to 10 business days. At morganton eye, you're looking at a month... sometimes 3 weeks. I will say that they do have a larger variety of medicaid glasses to chose from than walmart did by far. The optical (eye glasses) shop at Morganton Eye could definitely be a little friendlier with medicaid patients and their parents. We all put our pants on the same way, sassy.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this office. My mother called to schedule an appointment and was treated disrespectfully by Donna, who abruptly ended the call while my mother was still trying to speak. When I called back to address the situation, I spoke directly with Donna. Rather than acknowledging the concern or offering any apology, she denied the interaction entirely. I explained what had occurred and requested to speak with a manager. Instead of being transferred, I was placed on hold indefinitely, forcing me to disconnect the call myself. Everyone has difficult days, but basic professionalism, courtesy, and accountability should be expected in a healthcare setting. The most frustrating part was not the original incident it was the complete lack of concern and unwillingness to address the issue afterward. I hope management takes customer service concerns seriously and works to ensure patients and their families are treated with the respect they deserve.
