Mountain View Eye Center

Exam and experience was fine my appointment was November 8th its December 3rd i still don't have my glasses. That's never happened even the VA is quicker. Someone needs to work the problem I'm going to suggest my company gets vouchers elsewhere until they solve their supply problem

I've been a long time patient here at this location. Probably about since the time they opened in mountain view. I've noticed in the recent past the quality of service has diminished and the prices have gone up. Today I stopped in just to order a new set of glasses. Nothing more. No eye exam ...no fitting ....just order a simple set of glasses using my most recent prescription. I picked out a frame and waited for exactly 49 minutes before I got up and told the girl at the front desk that I now just wanted a print off of my prescription. Mind you, there were no more than 3 other customers in the waiting area at any time. At one point for just a few minutes I was the only one in the waiting area.. And 4 girls behind the front counter. I must have been invisible sitting there directly in front of the front counter. 49 minutes pissed away. What I felt here was nothing short of rude irresponsible behaviors. At my age I have learned that I no longer need to say the "southern" cliche, Bless your heart. I prefer to say K. M. A. Eye centers are like buses there's always another right down the road. That's where I'm going with my money and my business.

I ordered my glasses may 3rd. I was told 10 to 14 days. I still haven't received them yet. They keep telling me it's the labs fault. I was told befor labor day weekend that they would be finish that friday and would be overnighted. So when i called back they said the lab was still working on them. I will never go back there.

I called to make an appointment because my glasses were damaged and needed to get a new pair ASAP. They first told me they did not have any appointments for over a month. So, I went to another optometrist and had my exam. I then called Mountain View Eye Center back to purchase my glasses through them. The woman that answered asked why I had gone somewhere else and then told me that she would have worked me in, if she had known the situation. I had explained my situation, when I called the first time. I let this miscommunication go and asked when I could come in to pick out my new glasses. The woman put me on hold for a long time and then came back on the line and said that I could come in anytime, I just had to wear a mask; which I totally understood. I asked their hours on Saturday and told her I would be in a little after 9 on Saturday. When I got there, there was a big sign on the door saying “By Appointment Only”. So I called them and explained that I was there to pick out new glasses and the woman informed me that I did not have an appointment and would not be allowed inside. After debating a couple minutes about how I did call the day before and they knew I was coming; she would not budge. So, I told her I would NOT be back. They are very friendly on the phone, but they do not communicate with each other and have cost me additional time on getting my new glasses; which has cost them any future business from me.

I don’t know where to begin. I’ve been a patient there for 15 years always a problem ordering my contacts. It was always a confrontation always this last time I order my contacts it was another confrontation and then Molly that’s on the staff. Call me to tell me that they would give me a trial pair of contacts, but they were not go order contacts for me anymore, but they were parting ways with me because they cannot make me happy. All because I asked for my prescription to see if I could get my contacts somewhere else.
