Mt Hood Eye Care Gresham

A year or two ago I got an eye exam done here for glasses. However, I went somewhere else for the frame. I'll decline to say where, but I've been very disappointed the last few times I chose them. So, I just recently went back to Mt Hood Eye Care--got another eye exam cuz I really like Dr Cartwell. She does amazing things with my prescription to help me see better. This time I'm choosing to take better care of my eyes and pay for higher quality frames--I hope, and more importantly, use this eye care professional to MAKE the glasses and--hopefully--get the most out of the prescription I have instead of going the popular route. Did I mention her staff is the Best!?! Receptionist? She is absolutely Numero Uno! Jen the optician is sooo very thorough and patient to help pick the right frame and important aspects of the lenses. I'm holding my breath that I have made the right decision this time for my vision!

My kid and I recently had our first appointments, each with a different one of the doctors, Curttright and Mann, and we were both beyond impressed. Both doctors were friendly, knowledgeable, skilled and very thorough. They took time to answer our questions and make sure we felt confident in the care we were getting. The rest of the staff was wonderful to work with too, especially the woman at the front desk who seemed genuinely happy to be there and the super helpful optician. That's really all that matters but because it was a pleasant surprise, I'll mention this: The office is in a strip mall (which to me means easy parking!) but it had boutique vibes and was so cute and fun inside. Overall it was an awesome experience and I'm so glad we found such a great place to get our eye exams and glasses now.

I had an excellent experience at this place. The team is great and dedicated to ensuring that their clients are satisfied. A special thanks to Jen and Yessie for putting in a lot of extra effort to remake my progressive lenses until they worked for me. Next time I need new glasses or eye care, I'll come back here.

I recommend Mt Hood Eye Care. The staff here are exceptionally friendly. Lindsey Rosencran made me feel very comfortable and happy to be there. I was seen right away and received a thorough service. The atmosphere was very nice, the parking is near the front door on one level so you don’t have far to walk if that’s a challenge for you like me.
