Incredibly disappointed and angry due to the long wait times and disorganization. Having been a patient with NRI for several years now (going on 4 years), today was the worst appt by far I've ever had with them. They were disorganized, slow, and overwhelmed. It makes me really hesitant to want to do any appointment with them in the future. I arrived at 2:47pm, early for my 3:15pm appointment. I did not finish my appointment until 5:34pm! I had hoped that maybe I would be seen earlier, but that was not the case at all. I waited a little over an hour just to be seen by a tech, with no updates given to me about why there was such a long wait time until I approached the desk. I waited for another 15-20 minutes after dilation to see the doctor. I informed the front desk staff that I changed my insurance and it was quickly forgotten about. - I will say, I could tell the front desk staff were doing their best (it was 2 of them), and they were polite and friendly. But sitting and waiting when I have an appointment for a routine visit (mind you, this is not Urgent Care) was ridiculous to me. -The office & bathrooms are clean, my doctor was nice. It is accessible by subway+bus. -I can no longer recommend this location if this is to be what's expected. I used PTO and made an appt for a particular time so it could be honored. If I wasn’t going to be seen until 4:30pm, then I could have made a later appt and left my job later. Management of NRI needs to seriously hire more people, or do not take as many appointments in a day if staff are obviously unable to get every patient seen in a reasonable amount of time. A 30 minute wait is one thing, an hour wait is another. Very disappointed NRI. The Towson location is sorely missed, as I did not wait this long at their now closed Towson location.

I recently visited this office for an appointment, and while the doctor was attentive and thorough (as always), I had a disappointing experience at checkout. When I was ready to leave, I had to wait while the two receptionists were engaged in a personal conversation, which left me standing and feeling ignored. I would suggest a little more attentiveness at checkout to ensure that patients feel prioritized throughout their visit.

I was extremely nervous going into my appointment, but the doctors and entire staff are AMAZING at this practice! The exam was thorough and all of my concerns were noted and addressed accordingly. I’ve been to numerous doctors the past few months and this is the first place that listened to my concerns and is actually trying to get to the bottom of my issues. I’ve only been to this practice once so far but I truly feel that I’m in excellent hands with Dr. Steiner and the rest of his team. The office staff are top notch and make you feel at ease, which is hard to find. I highly recommend this practice.

I always have a pleasant experience whenever I visit NRI. From the front office staff thru ending with the check out. I felt some uncertainty in my vision, i called and was given a suitable appointment. Dr Shif is awesome. I love that she takes time and throughly explains solutions with her patients. I would gladly refer additional patients to this practice.

I generally don't write reviews but NRI is worthy of an exception. Good customer service is so, so a thing of the past. When it's given it must be acknowledged. Today I visited the Owings Mills location, I'd not been seen at the practice before. Everyone I interfaced with had nice energy, they were efficient, knowledgeable, and patient. The front office staff were polite and friendly, they are a very nice representation of the business. My experience was very pleasant!!
