Very helpful and welcoming staff from the moment I walked in. Lyzbeth especially stood out she took the time to explain everything clearly and made the entire process feel simple and stress-free. Since it was my first time getting glasses, I had a lot of questions, but she was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure I understood all my options. I never felt rushed or overwhelmed. Overall, it was a great experience, and I left feeling confident about my choice. Highly recommend!

I had an outstanding experience at Nationwide Vision. Oraida and her staff were amazing—professional, friendly, and truly focused on customer service. They resolved my issue quickly and efficiently, making the entire process stress-free. It's refreshing to work with a team that genuinely cares about their patients and goes the extra mile to help. Highly recommend! 👏👓
I drove 2 hrs to this location and was met by negative energy and a very rude and unhelpful front desk representative. They required me as the patient to call to verify coverage again, after speaking with them yesterday on the phone to verify coverage. And when I did that, the front desk representative told me to “just hang up” and she would do it herself.., I was very disappointed in the customer service at this location and will never return.
This is easily the worst Nationwide Vision location in Tucson. Let me explain. 1. The Pre-Appointment Misinformation I called ahead to make sure everything was squared away for my stepdaughter’s appointment. I specifically asked two things: Did her mom or dad need to be present? Would a screenshot of her insurance card work? Her parents aren’t always available for appointments, so I wanted to make sure I came prepared. I was assured that I could bring her myself and that a photo of the insurance card was fine. Fast forward to the appointment: I arrive and suddenly that information is completely wrong. Now they need one of her parents there to sign authorization forms. When I explained I had literally called ahead to confirm this exact situation, they told me I must have spoken to the call center, not the store. Apparently the store and the call center operate in two separate dimensions with different rules. So I had to reschedule the entire appointment so her parent could come sign paperwork first. Great start. 2. The “Surprise, Your Appointment Changed” Experience Second appointment day arrives. I received multiple texts and emails confirming my appointment was at noon and suggesting I arrive around 11:50. So naturally I walked in at 11:52. Immediately the front desk receptionist (pink glasses and shitty attitude) rolls her eyes and tells me I was supposed to be there at 11:30. Interesting, because all the confirmations on my phone say 12:00. She then informs me that when my stepdaughter’s father came earlier to sign authorization paperwork, they told him my appointment was moved to 11:30. And instead of just fixing the situation like a normal person, she decides to hold a courtroom reenactment in the lobby. She literally starts asking the other employees behind the desk if they heard her tell him the new time, while smirking like she just caught someone in a lie. Then she says: "Sorry if there's a communication issue between you and her father, but we told him 11:30." Ah yes. Because clearly the customer is responsible for telepathically receiving appointment changes that were never sent through the system. At that point I asked for the manager. 3. Manager Rachel — The Only Adult in the Building Manager Rachel came out, listened to both sides, and actually applied something rare in this office: logic. I explained that even if the father had been told about the time change, the office never sent any notification, and changing someone’s appointment by 30 minutes the morning of because the office wants to close early on a Saturday is wildly unprofessional. Rachel agreed and made sure my stepdaughter was seen. She genuinely saved the day. So thank you, Rachel. 4. The Cherry on Top Before I even escalated things, the receptionist tried one last gotcha moment. When I pointed out I arrived at 11:52 for a noon appointment, she smirked and said: "Even if your appointment was still noon, you’d still be late because we need you here at 11:50, not 11:52." Yes. Two minutes. Apparently Nationwide Vision Valencia operates on airport boarding gate rules now. Final Thoughts The doctor and the manager, Rachel, were great. No complaints there. But the front desk staff seem to specialize in: 1) Passing blame to the call center 2) Changing appointment times the day off without notifying customers through the system. 3) Being sarcastic when they think they’re about to cancel your appointment. If you enjoy customer service with a side of attitude and unnecessary drama, this is the place. Otherwise, I’d recommend literally any other eye clinic in Tucson.
Amazing visit ! Front desk Claudia checked my family in . Was very knowledgeable when I had insurance information and walked us through the process. I’ll recommend my family and friends to come here.
