When your child is facing an unknown medical issue, it can be one of the most frightening experiences a parent goes through. After follow-up visits with both the emergency room and our pediatrician, we were referred to Nemours Children’s Health Specialty Care for Infectious Disease for further evaluation. From our very first interaction, the team has been compassionate, thorough, and incredibly communicative. They have kept me informed every step of the way, making sure I understood test results, the next steps, and what to expect throughout the process. That level of communication has helped ease so much of the anxiety that comes with waiting for answers. I also want to recognize the Medical Assistant, Myranda. She has been absolutely outstanding. She has been responsive, kind, professional, and truly on top of everything. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her patients and their families, and that has made a world of difference during this scary time in our lives.
