I went to this eye doctor for an eye exam and new glasses prescription. I was greeted by a friendly staff and was taken to see Dr. Huynh. She was professional and very helpful. I felt like she was thorough and imformative during my exam. I got my glasses in 2 weeks and they were perfect. My experience was not like the negative reviews here. I recommend using this office.

I was a patient of Dr Johnson’s for years with no complaints and had nothing but praise for him and the office. So when he retired I went with the new doctor I am assuming bought his client list. I hadn’t had a check up in 1.5 yrs and was due so I booked an appt. The communication was good in the beginning until I showed up for the appt. and was asked for my Medicare card. I explained that no one had instructed me to bring it prior and I could send them a copy of it after I got home. The girl at the front desk was nice enough to ask Dr Huynh if she would make an exception. She came back and told me she would not and I would have to pay the full amount up front or reschedule. I told them ok, I would do that providing I could return after the appointment with Medicare card and receive a refund then they could bill it out accordingly. I was told they would not do that. I left very frustrated and will be finding eye care elsewhere. Dr Huynh, trust is a two way street. In response to the anonymous person named “owner” comments I offered to pay for the full cost of the exam in cash if needed providing I could return the same day with my Medicare and supplement insurance cards to bill accordingly and receive a refund, but the office staff flatly said no. I am seeing a pattern when reading the reviews all answered like a political debate never taking ownership of the situation and putting the blame elsewhere. Save yourself precious time and look elsewhere for eye care as this establishment operates more like a corporate chain instead of a small town eye doctor who truly cares about customers needs. As I am sure this follow up will start as “I am truly sorry…..”
I thought they were good when I first went here with my family however when my sons glasses broke 2 days before the warranty was up, they did not want to even try and get them covered (and it took them 5 weeks to get me the glasses but the warranty started when they ordered them NOT when I received them 5 weeks later). I had to call and explain this for an hour to them just to get them to try. Now a year later we had new eye exams done ata different place and my daughter NEVER needed glasses and has 20/20 vision but they sold them to her and told her to wear them all the time (which she stopped because it gave vision troubles-which make sense now knowing she never needed them. They also tried to sell my son very expensive treatments that the new Dr are saying are NOT necessary. So definitely get a second opinion before buying anything from them.
Can’t say enough good things! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Doctor Huynh is amazing, she took the time to answer every question thoroughly and proactively found solutions that work me and my lifestyle. Our family’s go to eye care spot for sure!
I had a very disappointing experience with this office and would caution others before purchasing glasses here. After issues with my initial progressive lenses, I followed the office’s recommendation to redo my exam and select new frames. From there, communication completely broke down—months passed with no updates, and repeated calls went unanswered. When I finally connected with the owner, I was told the frames they helped me select would not work with my prescription and that I needed to come back yet again to pick a third pair. At that point, I requested a refund but was only offered a partial one—even though I never received the glass lenses I paid for. I also later learned that contact lenses tied to my insurance benefits were returned to the distributor without my knowledge, which resulted in me losing my vision benefit for that year and impacted other orders that were not in dispute. Overall, this was a frustrating experience involving lack of communication, poor order management, and not receiving products that were paid for. I recommend asking detailed questions about refund policies, order handling, and insurance processing before doing business here.
