They treated me with kindness and respect. The pancakes in the morning were phenomenal, thanks, now I can't get that halsey song out of my head. The nurses were professional, thanks to Dr. Delgato for treating some of my pyschiatric symptoms, and Dr. Steven matthews and Dr. Lee and Fransesca iocono, some of the team in the partial hospitalization treatment program that I was mandated to go to were very respectful themselves. Melissa morgan, Dr meckeon, Francine white head, neigocoki. Shanon. Heather. Destiny and nurse Steve were careful in serving me hands as it was Halloween at the time and I managed to talk to Dr. Steven about all my psychological trauma on all saints day. I still don't know why I flaunt around like everything's okay when it's not. Im pschizophrenic not pschizoaffective although a suicidal person is a scary person, I didn't wanna be that person so I took care of myself. You ladies and gentlemen helped. Although my bro tired. This was in October. It is now 2026. Love y'all 2 West!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Outstanding Experience at Mather Hospital I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY. I recently underwent three surgical procedures, including a full gastric bypass, and from the moment I arrived until the day I was discharged, I received nothing short of exceptional care. The management team on 2 East (2nd Floor), along with every nurse, nursing assistant, and staff member, went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, cared for, and supported every step of the way. Their compassion, professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly exceeded my expectations. They treated me like family, and I will never forget the level of care they provided during such an important time in my life. I also want to give my highest recommendation to Dr. Ashish Agarwala. From our very first appointment, he was incredibly thorough, patient, and compassionate. He explained every aspect of my procedures in detail, answered every question I had, and made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my decision. By the time I was wheeled into the operating room, I felt completely at peace because I truly believed I was in the best hands—and I absolutely was. Today, I am 7 days into my recovery, and I am doing amazingly well. I just had my first follow-up appointment, and everything went fantastic. My recovery has been smooth, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Thank you to Dr. Agarwala and the entire team at Mather Hospital for your dedication, expertise, and genuine compassion. You made what could have been a frightening experience feel safe, reassuring, and positive. I will forever be grateful, and I highly recommend both Mather Hospital and Dr. Ashish Agarwala to anyone seeking outstanding surgical care. Five stars isn't enough—you all deserve so much more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
On Thursday the 12 of March my wife talked me into going to Mather hospital emergency room because of severe stomach pain. By the time I arrived I was hurting and nauseous. As a 66 year old who has a long history of surgeries and health issues i hate emergency rooms. Not because of staff but I feel ridiculous going when others are much sicker. Mathers new ER is beautiful and clean. I was taken into a room within a half hour and the intake staff was amazing. The ER DR Christopher Driscoll and PA Igor Lizogubenko and nurses and staff treated me like I mattered and took my health as their first priority. Testing takes time and as patients we have to understand that. They explained every step and tests along the way. Within a hour I was pain free and comfortable. I am so very thankful for the care I received from everyone at Mather and I understand everyone is going to have different experiences depending on how sick they are. But I was treated very well and I thank Mather for their amazing care for my health.
I spent a week in Mather's Transitional Care Unit for physical therapy after knee replacement. The unit is top notch. The whole staff was completely dedicated to helping me recover. The Doctors, Nurses, Nurse Assistants, Physical Therapists, and the whole staff impressed me. Brought me through the program keeping me up on my progress while explaining every step. When I go for my next knee replacement I hope and pray I can go back and do it again. Thank you everyone.
I had hand surgery 8/6/26 and the RN's and PA's were unbelievable. There care and concerns around pre and post surgery was nothing but AA+ treatment. Thank you all for making me feel special and and the GREAT CARE given to me. Not to forget DR Borrero for explaining what the procedure will be and his focus on customer care. Thank you DR. Borrero.
