My wife and I were pretty disappointed with our prescription and subsequent glasses we received. My prescription was off and when I came back for an adjustment there was a clear reluctance to fix them, suggesting I wasn't giving my eyes enough time to adjust. It had been a month. I got an adjustment to the prescription, but even these new glasses were unuseable. My wife's glasses were similarly useless. I went back to my old glasses. Having used up my insurance for the year, I wanted to wait on a review for North Star until I went to another eye doctor. I just received my new glasses (over a year later) and they are perfect. The prescription from North Star was indeed off by a wide margin and my new eye doctor explained the issue. North Star should have done better. Too bad.
Dr Fisher is the best and her staff is so helpful and kind. They have the best technology to help my family see their best and the office is immaculate and adorable.
Stated I needed eyeglasses when I clearly didn't need them and the eye dilation was a surprise to me seeing how many top rated clinics no longer do that. I couldn't drive home afterwards and the receptionist attempted to have me fill out an insurance form when I couldn't see clearly due to the dilation. I asked the receptionist to wait on the glasses and she kept pushing me into buying some that day. I just didn't feel comfortable at all here. Not returning
I have been to many different eye care clinics my entire life, but have never found the best fit until I came to North Star Eye Care! I have been going to North Star Eye Care for a few years now. Dr. Londa is understanding, helpful, and takes the time to answer all your questions. She truly cares about her patients and I trust her to make the best decisions for me. Cullen has also been helpful in making sure I get the best prices for my contacts/glasses. He is personable, understanding, detail-oriented, and always goes the extra mile to help! The office and staff are also very welcoming! I truly am happy with my experience at North Star Eye Care and will continue to come here in the future! Thank you for all your help over the years!
