Scheduling & Office: Super easy to schedule with availability in just 2-3 days. Great location and a beautiful, clean, and spacious office with the latest equipment. Dr. Isaac is phenomenal! She carefully reviewed my medical history, medications, and past prescriptions. She spent all the time necessary to explain my options, address my concerns, and gave me great recommendations for my dry eye. She really goes above and beyond! They have a massive selection of frames for every budget, including the latest designer and sport frames. Dena was a fantastic optical consultant and walked me through all the lens options perfectly. They were able to use my medical insurance for my condition, which saved me out of pocket payment! Great value! Highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for exceptional, attentive eye care!

I’ve been a patient at NSVC for more than 35 years, and there’s a reason I keep driving from Oak Park to Northbrook for my vision care. Not only are the ophthalmologists fantastic—ensuring that my vision is optimized year after year—but the techs and office staff take the best possible care of you. I specifically want to call out Angela Smith, the Practice Manager, who handled my recent contact lens order. She went above and beyond, and I truly appreciate the level of customer service she provided, especially her resourcefulness, kindness and patience. Could I find a practice closer to home? You bet. But the care I get at NSVC is worth sitting in traffic for.

So I have been going to stage same place for years. When first came, they were the only place that didn’t require me to use eyedrops and instead takes pictures inside my eyes to get a clearer view of my eye health. Once you are done, they have fabulous people to help you find the perfect frame. Joseph has been here for years and is super honest and helpful. Paula is totally awesome, super friendly and great at making sure your glasses are done correct, the first time, every time (she also has great taste). Yes, there are tons of places for glasses these days, but my pairs from some of the bigger mail in companies and other optometrists don’t fit well, and the lenses are not as clear. Nothing is more important then your health and eyesight, go here if you value yours!

I have been a patience of Dr. Eiden at least 20 years. He retired and sold the practice I went in for an eye exam six months ago. It was OK last week. I had an emergency with my eye a round black spot covered my vision and I called them and said please I’m on my way because someone was here to drive me and could they look in my eye. They told me they can’t help me that I needed to go to a retina specialist I said, can’t you even look in my eye? I’m on my way there. No here’s the number of a specialist. I called there. They took me without even knowing who I was and they had the same exact machines that Dr. Eiden‘s office Has. They could’ve at least looked in my eye. I will never go back. It’s a shame that this once great vision consultants was wonderful and now downhill all the way.

Dr. Jodi Isaac is very kind and knowledgeable. She makes you feel at ease the whole time and answered all my questions. I would 100% recommend her to anyone!
