I really enjoyed the doctor. Very nice, welcoming, informative. However, once complete i was not impressed with how the receptionist responded to questions. She was very confusing, and kind of rude, and when i asked a question about something the doctor had stated she stated that he doesnt know what he is talking about and that in the front they do because they are in front and deal with it more often. I just feel like you never throw a coworker under the bus in front of a patient, even if they do not know what they are talking about. It should be a private conversation. Will not go back it was extremely uncomfortable.

Been a patient for 36 years. Amazing service and a very thorough full eye health exam. Very knowledgeable staff and great selection!

A great, caring eye doctor with a small town doctor’s office feeling. The expertise and technology is top notch and the frame options are attractive. Ive been going here for years and am always happy with the service.

Dr. Bahr is the most thorough Dr. I've ever had, very caring, makes sure he can keep trying until he gets to the bottom of the problem. I would highly reccomend him!!

I’ve been going to Northwoods since I was a kid. All the doctors are consistently amazing - kind, friendly and most important, extremely knowledgeable. They give home remedy options when they can and are also great (and patient) with my kids. We love the Northwoods team!
