Outstanding Doctors, Disappointing Optical Department I am giving two stars only because the medical side of this practice deserves much better. I was there during the second week of April for my annual eye exam. I wish I remembered the doctor's name because he was not only professional and knowledgeable, but one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. The technicians and receptionists were also friendly, courteous, and welcoming. Unfortunately, my experience has always been ruined by the optical department. Years ago, after one of my eye exams, an African American woman in the optical department was taking my measurements for new glasses. She repeatedly told me to move closer, and I did exactly as she instructed. Then, out of nowhere, she abruptly said, "Get back. That's awkward." I have never forgotten how embarrassed and uncomfortable that made me feel. Every year afterward, I had to deal with the same rude attitude from her until she retired a few months ago. I hoped things would improve, but they did not. During my visit in April, I ordered two pairs of glasses. I only got a text message 2 days ago informing me that they are ready. I understand there were two adjustments that had to be made, but the overall delay was still unacceptable. My final interaction was with an older African American man in the optical department, and it was just as disappointing. I had returned both pairs of glasses in two good-quality protective cases. When I came back to pick them up, he handed me the glasses without the cases. When I politely asked where my cases were, he responded rudely and angrily, saying he was not there when I dropped them off. That was not my concern. Only after I refused to leave without my cases did he place the glasses in two cheap replacement cases. The doctors, technicians, and reception staff provide excellent care and deserve five stars. Sadly, the optical department continues to undermine the excellent reputation of the practice. Until customer service in that department improves, I cannot recommend purchasing glasses there.

Dr. Schneider is the best ophthalmologist I’ve ever been to. The office staff is terrible. Called on way to appt that I was running 10 minutes late. They told me I had a 15 min grace period which I made. However, they made me stand at reception for 10 minutes and when I reminded them I was late, they were very rude. So, after waiting for reception for 10 minutes they rescheduled me because it was too late. Apparently, this is not the only bad review for office staff. Too bad the doctors don’t read these so they can address the problem.
My annual appointment, scheduled a year in advance, fell on 8/12/25, a day when it turned out there were NO doctors in the office. The only message I got was a text request to confirm or cancel my appointment. I confirmed. The office manager apparently was supposed to communicate with patients for rescheduling. That did not happen. I learned this by traveling to the office for my 8:10 AM appointment. I rescheduled for the next available date…late October! The scheduling process earns a failing grade. I’m happy with the doctors.
Doctor in Norristown didnt listen to my husband with the issues he was having. Gave him a test for something he said he doesnt have. My husband took the doctors word for the test he needed. Paid the cost, paid the cost for of the first appointment that they charged him more for but only did a regular exam. It took a month for them to get back to him with results which should have been a lot faster. Never again and I will post on social media so hopefully others dont get screwed by them.
I am a patient of Dr Durski who is amazing. However the admin staff at the Jenkintown office are not friendly AT ALL! I called with an eye emergency and instead of having empathy the staff member immediately said “WELL YOU HAVE A $30 balance that needs to be taken care of..” so much for compassion for someone who just stated they have blurred vision and irration in their eye! Again while I really like Dr Druski I’m highly considering changing to another practice
