My experience is based on the Labor and delivery unit. I had my baby on 08/05/2026 and let me start by saying my hospital experience was beyond amazing because the Staff and nurses really were hands on and made sure that all my needs were met. They were very nice, friendly and helpful people they answered my call bells immediately, they allowed me to get much needed rest after my birth and took great care of my baby in the nursery, they also gave me and the other moms a baby shower during our two night stay and ordered us pizza 🍕 I received sooooo many gifts from them like 4 packs of diapers, baby wipes, new baby clothes, baby books, teddy bears, a baby carrier, and much more that I will be posting here on my review. The food was basic hospital food it lacked flavor but everything else was great. I highly recommend this hospital to any expecting mom. It’s a hidden gem in Brooklyn you will not regret it.

I would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Queens County Hospital for the wonderful care I received on August 21, 2026. To all the doctors, nurses, and staff members, thank you for your kindness, patience, professionalism, and compassion. Everyone treated me with respect and made me feel cared for and comfortable throughout my time there. I truly appreciate all the hard work you do every day to take care of your patients. Your dedication and kindness made a meaningful difference to me, and I will always be grateful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all and continue to give you strength as you care for others.

I had an emergency C-section at Kings County Hospital, and I received exceptional care throughout the entire experience. The doctors were highly attentive, professional, and took their responsibilities very seriously. They kept me informed, acted quickly when it mattered most, and made me feel safe and well cared for. The nursing staff and all hospital personnel were compassionate, supportive, and genuinely caring. Despite what was a stressful situation, everyone treated me with kindness and respect, which made a huge difference during my recovery. I am incredibly grateful to the entire team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County for the excellent care I received. Thank you for helping make a difficult experience a positive one.

While I spent 8 hour (8/22 at 12:48am to 8 am) in the ER the staff were it's polite but the ER bathroom was filthy ( pressure cuff, EKG snap connectors and electrode cables on the floor) in addition to the floor being dirty and toilet being unclean and no tissue. When I came to the eye clinic visit (8/24 at 9:30 am) I had a rough start with Dr. Aftab but we spoke and were ok. The final results of testing was explained to me by his colleague who I believe to be Dr. Bhakti Panchal. When she said surgery (I was shocked), then she explained the process and stated I wanted to get a second opinion. She then said "Well if you want to get a second opinion don't waste our time". Her exact word phrasing came across as defensive, condescending, and dismissive of my right to make informed decisions. Seeking a second opinion is a standard, healthy practice in any field, and reacting this way prioritizes their ego over my care or clarity. I made the appointment to de-escalate, but I felt bullied—and the news was still shocking. While I initially made the appointment, I have since canceled it to pursue a second opinion. Feeling pressured or discouraged from seeking outside perspectives creates an environment I am not comfortable with, and patients deserve to feel supported and respected when making critical healthcare decisions. I was scheduled for surgery. The doctors and nurses educated me well before and after. I can’t complain about the after care, they made sure i was comfortable and had everything i needed. Day and night nurses were exceptional! Room and bathroom were being cleaned regularly. I honestly did not want to leave 😂. Kudos to you all! Thank you for taking care of me!
