Ocala Eye

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was my first visit with Dr. Kellie Bassion at Ocala Eye, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations. I have to give special recognition to Eva, the technical assistant…she was amazing! Her kindness and warm personality immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Bassion has such a beautiful spirit. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. She took the time to listen, answer my questions, and explain everything thoroughly. You can truly tell she loves what she does and genuinely cares about her patients. In healthcare, expertise matters, but so does how you make people feel. Dr. Bassion gave me both. I felt heard, respected, and truly cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Bassion and the Ocala Eye team. And Eva deserves her flowers too! ❤️

I can barely read with these new prescription glassea. See photo of Sunglasses, this is what I have to do, and it still doesn't work. I cannot drive, I've had 2 near incidents and near accidents wearing these sunglasses and Mitch implies it is me, all they do is adjust them and tell me to come back. Last time I was told it was 6 months ago and acted put out that I was there. I spent over $1200out-of-pocket, for 2 pairs of glasses. I would expect some follow-up and guarantee, but nothing. Just excuses, adjustments and it's a long drive for me and I'm a senior. I will never go back be wary, I got better prescription glasses at Walmart. All Dr Shaw was interested in is getting me back for more testing.

I saw Dr. Mike, who was great, and I would highly recommend him. However, I especially want to recognize the technician, Jaelynn, who was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly thorough in making sure I had the correct measurements and lenses, taking the time to ensure everything was just right. I have never had a technician be as meticulous and attentive as Jaelynn at any eye center I’ve visited. Her professionalism and dedication truly stood out. Thank you, Jaelynn, for providing such exceptional care!

He saw my husband today. I have to say the office is very well set up & runs smoothly, with everyone knowing their job & is good & informative at what they do. Now for Dr. Vish, I have never had a Dr not try to sell you the top of the line of anything they do, BUT, he did not & even explained why my husband would not benefit from a more expensive treatment for his cataracts. There was no pressure but also can get him in quickly should we decide to follow thru with surgery. I wish I had taken him & my mother there for their exams to begin with. Thank you & your staff for explaining everything to us & putting my husband at ease.

I had a very good experience at Ocala Eye.. My vision after cataract surgery is now 20/20 without glasses! All the staff at the surgery center were pleasant and caring! Thank you especially to Dr.Elhalis! You’re the best!
