I took my son for his very first optometrist appointment, and we had such a wonderful experience. Dr. Kandace Haines is amazing with children — patient, kind, and truly engaging. She took her time to explain everything and walked us through each piece of equipment and every test so my son felt comfortable and excited throughout the visit. He had a great time and left feeling confident and happy. I highly recommend Dr. Haines to anyone looking for exceptional, compassionate eye care, especially for kids!

We have never had a more engaging and enjoyable routine eye exam for our 6-year-old daughter. Dr. San Agustin was incredibly kind, loving, and caring, and she provided an extensive, detailed examination. She also offered a variety of treatment options. The entire experience was excellent—from the check-in process all the way through the purchase of glasses.

We took our 6 year old for a full eye exam and review due to the suggestion from our Occupational Therapist. The entire staff at Ocean Optics are warm, kind, friendly. From the moment you step inside the doors, you feel like you have known the team forever and you just know that you are in a special place. My son is energetic and quite talkative at 6 years old, and Dr. Haines was so very patient and encouraging by engaging him and not only speaking to mom and dad, which goes a long way with my little one. She was great at explaining things to him and to us. We look forward to his annual visits to maintain his eye health, and are grateful we found this team of amazing people.

What an amazing optics office! I would give it more stars if I could. From the friendly faces at the front, to the tech savvy and up to date eye evaluation tools utilized for my eye exam, to the friendly staff and don't forget Dr. Haines who took the time to discuss my findings and how best to manage my vision needs. Their optics/glasses boutique is in their office and has such a wide selection of all types of brands, including high end designer glasses. They even helped me pick out new frames that fit my face perfectly!!! I recommend friends, family, and even my own patients to this office!!!
