We are visiting Carlsbad on vacation and my son Jacob accidentally ripped his contact lens. What could have quickly turned into a stressful situation and put a damper on our trip turned into an experience that restored our faith in genuine kindness. After contacting our eye doctor and getting Jacob’s prescription, Ocean View Optometry went above and beyond for us. They didn’t just give him one replacement pair of contacts — they gave him two pairs. They had absolutely no obligation to do this, yet they treated us with such compassion, care, and generosity. It may seem like a small act to some, but to us it meant everything. They truly saved our vacation and prevented what would have been a frustrating situation for my son. Exceptional customer service is hard to find these days, and Ocean View Optometry exceeded every expectation. We are incredibly grateful for their kindness and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an office that genuinely cares about people.

Ive been searching for a new eye dr for sometime now and finally found one! The care they give you here is amazing! The office is so clean and organized with plenty of different options for frames! Maria the receptionist is amazing! So sweet! Made me feel so comfortable and is not pushing at all like other optometrist. My experience was so great that now my wife just booked her appointment here as well! I am now a lifetime customer! Dr. Morgan is so friendly, explains everything to a tee! I left with zero doubts! I have been coming here for about 4 years now. Dr. Morgan is the best - he's very knowledgeable and thorough. He spends time with me making sure to answer all of my questions and problem solves when issues come up. He has given me some really helpful advice for my dry eyes and fixed a mistake with my lenses which was made by the lab with such grace and urgency. His optician Maria is a doll and very organized. The frames are on the higher end, but if you're decisive like I am, you're happy to spend a little extra beyond insurance coverage to get a high quality pair that will last a few years.
