Ochsner Medical Center

The outpatient Lab has a young lady that needs to learn how to present herself and how to speak to patients and their family members. Never speak to them like they are your children and with bossy tones, when they are only here for drawing blood, so no conversation as made to create the attitude in her voice. Unprofessional. I worked in the medical field and how she spoke was unnecessary and lack of professional ability to control herself verbally.

I had a doctors appointment, ob doctor, today November 19 2025 and when I arrived I was told by the receptionist that they don’t take my insurance. I made an appointment on line and pre checked in. I don’t understand why I wasn’t notified about this. The young lady at the front desk was not very helpful and not too nice. I was very disappointed. I called Ochsner and I was told that my doctor was no longer working there. I was so confused because I was not told that.

This is regarding the clinic. I've received terrible customer service on each of my visits. Terrible attitudes from the reception staff. No acknowledgement when you approach the check-in counter. Had to wait at least 30 minutes past my appointment time before I was seen on each visit. Unprofessionalism in every aspect. Additionally, the parking is terrible. I won't be returning to this provider for treatment.

Had a total hip replacement on 12/4/24 thru the Outpatient Facility Westbank with Dr Ryan Charles. Every individual that I dealt with had a smile, were respectful and caring. So impressed with my experience. Would also highly recommend Dr. Charles for your hip surgery. My recovery has been amazing. Thank you to every individual at the Outpatient facility that helped me thru this scary time. I was nervous but your staff put me at ease.

Doctors are great! I have been to this facility on several occasions, and I enjoy being a patient. I have the best gynecologist, Dr. Drewitz! Also the staff are very friendly. I would give this place a hundred stars because when it comes to care in my experience, they exceed all the time. I had both my kids at Ochsner Hospital, and the doctors truly cared. I have been to the emergency room a couple of times, and being sick is no joke. The doctors, nurses, and staff have been nothing but helpful. I can't thank them enough from taking care of my daughter when she was a preemie in the NICU at Ochsner Baptist. The nurses' doctors and everyone in the NICU went over and beyond to take care of my baby. I remember the care I received at Ochsner Westbank when I had my son. I had nurses come in around the clock to help me after my c-section. Like I said, the doctors are great, and may God continue to bless all the wonderful people that work here!!! They are angels for sure! 😊
