Very disappointed with my experience at this eye clinic. The front desk staff, especially one older woman with white hair—I believe her name was Sharon—was extremely rude and disrespectful toward me. We were only about two minutes late because it was raining, and my daughter’s school had also delayed letting her out. When I came in to explain the situation, instead of being understanding, she gave me an attitude and spoke to me very disrespectfully. I’ve also noticed that she has treated me this way on multiple occasions when I’ve come in with my daughter. I honestly don’t understand why I’m treated this way every time I come in. I feel that everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses how customers are being treated at the front desk.

My Neurologist sent a referral to this facility because Dr. Hemphill was highly recommended. He has retired so I was assigned an appt with Dr. Pena. The front staff was amazing, very helpful! I went in for answers on my eyes and why my vision worsened so rapidly. His suggestion within asking THREE questions including my name and how long I’ve worn glasses? “LOOSE WEIGHT, drink more water and get 8hrs of sleep” walked out speechless.

I went yesterday 8/20/26. For my annual exam. It was very corporate, rushed through didn’t seem to care about my previous eye history, which is very significant. I have been a patient for 30 years and will be finding new eye care

I was told on the phone that it would be a $10 copay to get my contacts prescription after explaining that I already had my glasses prescription from the VA. When showed up I was told that I had to either pay a $50 copay to take pic of my eye or get them dilated. I explain to your assistant that I had just had that done at the VA and all I needed was my contact prescription. They seemed upset but we moved on. When the Doctor came in he didn’t ask me much about my concerns of what I wanted in contacts. Just pushed me to a new brand of contacts and moved on. I can’t see any distance in the subscription he gave me. You then charged me a seating fee of 100 dollars. For what? One pack of contacts you gave me. That you get free for pushing them on your patients. I have been coming to your clinic for at least 20 years and this has never happened before. The lady that was checking me out when I ask what that was for was very smug and unpleasant. I guess Customer service is a thing of the past. Sad, but you lost a long time customer over this.

Most of these reviews are about 1year ago when Dr Hemphill was still there. I loved Hemphill for more than 30 years, and I am wondering what the reviews are since he has retired?
