I’ve been going to Olson Eye Care for a few years now and the staff is always great. Whether it is my annual exam or getting my first ever pair of glasses after years of contacts (I still prefer to wear contacts) all the staff are stellar to work with. Please consider this small business for your eye care needs.

We've been coming here for over 15 years, and I can't recommend them highly enough. The entire team is always friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about their patients. He always goes above and beyond to help us find the perfect frames, makes sure everything fits perfectly, and provides outstanding customer service every single time.

I’ve been going to Olson Eyecare since I moved to Madison 14 years ago. They’ve taken great care of me through the years, helping me navigate how our eyes & vision change as we age. They’ve seen me through LASIK & gave me grace to decide when I was ready to move to progressives. Even as the practice has expanded to include more optometrists, some staff have been there since I became a patient & at this point are old friends. The optician often has several frame suggestions ready for me to consider by the time my exam is finished. They remind me a lot of the optometrist I used for years in my hometown before moving here. No doubt they have a large client list, but I never feel like just a number. It is those consistent and regular connections we have in our communities that make a place feel like home. And it’s especially important to feel that level of comfort with our medical providers. Always glad I found them.

When you go to Olson Eye Care you will get the best care from their staff and optometrists on an individual level versus a big box location where you're just another no-name customer. I feel like an individual and they know my history and me as a person. They're doing everything they can to get the insurance covered since there has been a change in my insurance carrier too by my Employer!

I made an appointment at Olson Eye Care to receive treatment for my dry eyes. The care has been PHENOMENAL! Dr. Teclaw gave me an extremely thorough exam and comprehensive explanation of what was going on with my eyes and the treatment protocol. I completed the recommended protocol that included a combination of laser treatment and red light therapy, along with prescription eye drops, an omega supplement, and a heated mask. I have had a significant improvement in my condition and now I have entered the maintenance phase. Their nurse, Heather administered the laser and light therapy and was also kind, informative, and helpful. I originally had my eyes examined by my Health Plan provider who offered me minimal solutions and dismissed my condition, and the impact it was having on my quality of life. Receiving care at Olson Eye Care was the best decision I could have ever made for my eye health and for my quality of life. I cannot say enough about Dr. Teclaw and Heather and how fabulous they both are!! They are both immensely kind, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about helping others! I would highly recommend Olson Eye Care to anyone in need of any eye care services, and if you are suffering from dry eyes, there’s a viable solution!
