I've been going to this clinic for about 18 months now and I am incredibly impressed. Their wait room times are fantastic. You are expected to allow 15 minutes to fill out the paper work, but you are generally taken back at or within 5 mins of your appointment time (if you show up the 15 mins early to do your paperwork). They are quick and efficient. They do take their time with the patient and address your concerns, but the amount of BS you have to do with is cut in half compared to any other provider. I have never had a long wait to get a prescription refill or an appointment. My provider recently left the clinic. He was a fantastic provider and the first provider who ever truly listened to me and validated my experiences. However my new provider, Lexie, is amazing. They are very lucky to have her. She also listened to me, trusted my opinions of what was going on, and spoke to me plainly about what options would work, which would not and why. I told her at the beginning I liked being part of the discussion and I was. I recommend this place to friends who have difficulty getting care because not only is it easy to get financial assistance, but you do not have to sacrifice quality of care to do so. In fact, I feel the care is a step up.

I don't like them anymore.I were treated as a statistic rather than a person. I'm a diabetic and when I had no insurance I should have been treated the same as if I had insurance. Could have billed me and I could have set up a payment arrangement and I couldn't get no meds. The African doctor made my meds so high priced unaffordable through their personal pharmacy. If you have by insurance don't go there. They have clinics you can never get right away appointments for. They booked my mother with appointments where doctor's wasn't even scheduled on that day to provide services 😑 ridiculous. I'm trying to get her to switch to doctor's who actually care. I hate to give one 1 star 🤩. They are traveling staff. One day I had 1 doctor( no notice ) next appointment was with a sixties who cared, then no more. I like to be familiar with mines because they are people to. Never will I make them feel uncomfortable with providing me care because when a person comes into your vision, there's purpose because God put them there. You can either utilize it or not bother especially if you haven't made amends with our be acquainted with. Then when they pass away before you do, you missed God's will. We're in this world to be builders, not demolishing

Wish I had read the reviews more closely before going. I have a molar that broke in half due to a filling that fell out, a dental emergency, and on the phone I was not informed that you would only be seen for emergency dental if someone else canceled or didn’t show up, I was just told I could come in when they started accepting people at 8. I would probably have my teeth fixed by now if I had been informed of this on the phone. A slot was found for me at a different location so I went and was informed I needed multiple extractions and a root canal & crown. The dentist at Charles Drew Metro told me she could not remove the tooth that day, which I totally understood, but she would write me a referral to Creighton for the root canal & crown. I was given a paper copy of this referral, but when I phoned Creighton I was told it was never sent to them by the dentist. Every single time I try to call about getting that referral actually sent over, I get stuck in a loop of menu options and I have yet to get any sort of response. I was also told by the reception that I would get a phone call with a date that Charles Drew could perform the extraction that same day, but it’s been nearly a month and I haven’t heard a single peep. Highly do not recommend for dental.

Told the scheduler over the phone I needed an ADHD ssessment. I got there and figure out that that they put me in with a family practitioner who doesn't perform ADHD assessments and all the psychologists are booked and not taking new clients. Thanks for nothing but wasting my time and money

All they want is a fast pay check. I had a relative that was severely misdiagnosed from the providers here that landed them in the ER and admitted to the hospital for days. Despite going every 3 months for a "checkup" and "bloodwork", for almost 2 years. Don't waste your time or money here, you might land in the ER in the long run.
