Dr Mauzy is one of the most dedicated and concerned Drs I have ever had. You can just tell he cares. I switched to him after taking one of my pts at Conemaugh Hospital to see him on consult. This pt had no Dr, no money, no insurance. A lot of specialists who are consulted are irritated that you called them for this pt. Not Mauzy, he made the Hospital get the equipment he needed working in a closed exam room they gave him. He told the pt they must follow up with him. When she said she had no ins or money, he personally called social services to get her Medicare started, then called his office and made the appointment. The pt was shocked. A Dr who cared about her health more than her money. He comforted her and explained how important this was. That's my Doc!

Very friendly and professional staff. Dr Erik Mauzy is a dedicated and caring doctor. He is easy to talk with and understand. He has been my eye doctor for 25 years and I am very pleased with his care.

Dr. Mauzy is the best! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an ophthalmologist!! He is very thorough and knowledgeable! He and his staff are always kind and caring!! Lacey took me back to the room and she always does a wonderful job! Looking forward to my next yearly visit!

I want to start by saying that the Doctors themselves are excellent. Dr. Stephenson being my favorite. He was personable, took his time, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Unfortunately, everything outside of that was the complete opposite. The office staff is incredibly unprofessional. The woman at the front desk consistently comes across as rude and clearly unhappy to be there, which sets a negative tone the moment you walk in. The biggest issue, however, is the optical department—specifically Logan. My experience with him was beyond frustrating. He consistently comes across as careless, disorganized, and completely clueless in all aspects. There was no sense of urgency, no attention to detail, and no confidence that anything was being done correctly. GOOD LUCK getting anywhere with this guy. These doctors deserve a much better team supporting them. The level of professionalism or lack there of, from the staff has me shopping for a new doctor.

Dr Mauzy is very knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I trust him 100% with my prescription, and Monitoring my eyes as they age. The staff is very friendly and proficient. The whole office is the total package! A blessing to be able to fully trust them.
