Optical 88 2020

I would say their frames and lenses quality are very good so I bought a very nice frame from them couple years ago and I still really like the frame. I came to the store wanting to buy a similar type of frame. However, I really don’t like the customer service I received there. They loudly saying my insurance is bad while there are other customers coming in and I was just simply asking them to check my insurance coverage. Their attitude seems like not wanting me to buy anything from them and just force me to feel bad about my insurance, which is strange. Also their facial expression made me feel they have a sarcastic feeling. They made me feel insecure. Would not come back and would not recommend.

I have never ever posted a review but this buissness truly deserves it!! I have been a customer here for a while and I really love the attention and service they give towards their customers and especially the reasonable prices they have to offer. I have visited many other Optical’s and prices based on their appointments and glasses but nothing beats Optical 88. My glasses broke suddenly and they were fast on providing options for me more sooner than nearby Optical’s. Sarah is very friendly and understanding! Love her! They are the best! 😃💗

I can't recommend this place enough, Sara is an angel and was so helpful for filling my glasses frames with my prescription. Everything was openly communicated, and she even let me pay in two installments instead of one lump sum so I had the chance to work my budget a little bit more. Extremely accommodating, considerate, and affordable! I'm never going to target or walmart optical again so long as I live in Bridgeport lol.

I took an optical blank for a set of bicycle glasses to Optical 88 Lab to have them put in prescription progressive lens. They did an outstanding job. The lens are perfect. I got them in under a week and the best part is I saved over 50% on these lens compared to quotes I had from other optical labs. I also purchased a second set of frames and lens the same day I ordered the bicycle glasses. They were also completed at the same time and frames and lens were 25- 50% less than other quotes I had received by eye glass shops. Their prices are very competitive with on line optical shops which I have ordered from in the past. However Optical 88 Lab provides the service of allowing you to try on frames and when a frame is chosen they can insure that the measurements are taken correctly to insure you have a great pair of glasses.

Amazing quality and an affordable price! Consists a great variety of different frames; You'll be certain to find what you're looking for. Much better than other opticals I've seen and been to. Totally recommended.
