Today, my 7-year-old daughter had ear surgery, and from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our experience was absolutely wonderful. Every single member of the staff was exceptional with her. While surgery is never something anyone looks forward to, they did an incredible job of making the entire experience feel easier and much less overwhelming. My little girl was very nervous, and there was one staff member in particular who stayed by her side the whole time, reassuring her, validating her feelings, and helping her feel safe and comfortable. They even gave her little gifts before and after her surgery, which meant so much to her. We truly felt cared for every step of the way. I am beyond grateful for the kindness, compassion, and professionalism shown by the entire team. They turned what could have been a very stressful day into a positive experience for both my daughter and our family. Thank you all for taking such wonderful care of her. ❤️

I had surgery on my left ear with Dr. Adrián Eshraghi, and I am very grateful for the excellent care I received. He did an outstanding job repairing my ear and took the time to explain everything clearly. From the surgery to the follow-up care, I felt I was in very capable hands. The staff at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute was also kind, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process. Even though I'm still recovering, I'm thankful for the care I received and would highly recommend Dr. Eshraghi and his team to anyone needing ear surgery. Thank you for giving me excellent care and helping me on my road to recovery.
Very poor experience at the Emergency Room. The wait time was excessively long, even though this was an emergency, and there was no communication or clear explanation provided at any point. Customer service was extremely disappointing. The staff appeared indifferent, lacked empathy, and showed little willingness to assist. I waited for hours without receiving proper attention or updates. An emergency room should prioritize patients and provide humane, respectful care—something that clearly did not happen here. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. From the moment I arrived, the professionalism of the doctors and staff was superb. Everything was organized, efficient, and the entire process moved quickly and smoothly. I had surgery for my myopia and astigmatism, and I truly felt I was in very capable hands. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. Their technology and facilities are outstanding, which gave me even more confidence in the procedure. Everything went perfectly, and I’m very grateful for the care I received. I highly recommend Bascom Palmer to anyone looking for top-quality eye care and experienced specialists.
My wife came to the emergency department because of swelling of her optic nerve. We arrived before 12:00 a.m. on July 11, 2026. She was not seen by a doctor until around 4:00 p.m., and the doctor then ordered an MRI. The MRI was finally performed at approximately 9:30 p.m. It is now 2:00 a.m. on July 12, and the doctor still has not come back to discuss the MRI results with us. We have asked several times for an update, but no one has been able to tell us what is happening. We are exhausted, and to make matters worse, patients who arrived after us have already been seen while we continue to wait. This level of care is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication and the excessive wait are unbelievable. This has been a total disaster. Well finally another doctor saw her at 2:45am.
