Amazing service! Went in for adjustment on my frames as they are luxury brand and did not want to take them just anywhere. Right away, Slava instantly knew what brand the frames were and you could just tell he was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. Super friendly and his experience will speak for itself. 10/10 would recommend to anyone to visit here!
After buying eyeglasses for my son online, we ran into problems: the nose pieces kept falling off and the arms were too wide, so the glasses kept sliding off his face. He didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning them, so we just lived with it for a while. After I moved to the Tarzana area, I noticed Optical Universe was in the same parking lot as Pozi's, so my son and I stopped in. They were wonderful. The staff was kind and friendly, and best of all, they fixed his glasses. I'm so grateful we found them and would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area
I had an exceptional experience with the team at Optical Universe in Tarzana. I accidentally stepped on my Tom Ford optical frames, leaving one arm bent at nearly a 45-degree angle. Slava took the time to carefully repair and realign them, and the result was absolutely perfect. He was gracious, kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping. The level of care and attention he provided was rare and greatly appreciated. When it is time for new sunglasses or optical frames, Optical Universe will be my first choice in the area. Highly recommended.
About 6 years ago I was looking for a really good place to treat myself to really nices eyeglasses. I did not want generic Lens Crafter, etc. I came across Optical Universe, I was on the phone with the owner about at least an hour, he was explaining to me about the difference in lenses etc. I knew the style frame I wanted and he just let me try on and eliminate the frames until I narrowed it down to two pairs. Let's just say I have excellent taste. The owner never discussed price until the end. I decided on the Cartier frames, I deserve it. Then I had a pair of reading glasses that I wanted the lense updated, costco frame. I was willing to select a frame from Optical Universe but he suggested to keep my frame because they were good frames. Don't spend the money I was told. He has your best interest at heart. If you have someone that is willing to spend at least 45 minutes to an hour on the phone explaining to you about lenses you know that he knows his stuff and he cares. He is old school and that is what I love about him.
Slava and Tracey are two of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. If you ever need any Dita or high end work or glasses. This is the single best place to be.
