I have always had such a wonderful experience at Henry Ford Optimize in Westland on Central City. The front desk is friendly, professional and very proficient. They always accommodate appointments and glasses are a fast turn around. The facility is very clean. Adjustment/depense dept also gets you in fast and does an amazing job. Coco was my absolutely amazing tech and she was very relatable and just a beautiful soul (wish I could give her 100 stars)You can tell the folks at this facility love their job and it shows. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone for all of your eye needs. Wish I could give 10 stars.

I recently visited the OptimEyes in Westland and requested to get a new pair of glasses post cataract surgery. I was placed at the desk of Dawn, informed her of my color of frames and style. She selected about 10-12 options. I ended up selecting her very first pick as it was different than what I usually chose. Tried it on loved the look and proceeded to purchase. Dawn was extremely helpful and kind. My wife and I were out of there in about 20 minutes. This location has multiple options. Dawn was efficient and I would definitely ask for her again

Very welcoming atmosphere!! The staff, especially Kathy and Karolin, were extremely helpful and patient. They answered our questions with care and thoroughly explained anything we had confusion about. We appreciate their willingness to kindly and respectfully assist us. Together, they have excellent customer service. It’s evident that they truly do love their job.

I can't recommend Dr. Makled highly enough. The way he handled the appointment told me it wasn't going to be a super rushed, assembly line kind of appointment. He was genuinely attentive, he listened to every concern I had, asked and answered questions I didn't even know I needed to ask, and never once made me feel like I was taking up too much of his time. What stood out the most to me was how proactive he was about my long term eye health, not just the short term issues I was having that day/week. He walked me through practices I could actually stick to, and he also made sure I understood the reasoning for those and the benefit, instead of just handing me a packet and sending me on my way. Also, he was incredibly patient during the exam itself, and double checked my prescription to be absolutely certain it was right. I feel like that level of care is super rare to see. Overall, he made me feel like family despite the fact that I walked in a stranger. If you're looking for an eye doctor who's both deeply knowledgeable and genuine, Dr. Makled is for sure the one. I also wanted to shout out the techs, they were a pleasure to be around and were super professional while also demonstrating a ton of knowledge. Overall, a great visit and will be sure to return for future visits with Dr. Makled.

A great experience until something happens with your frames. I’ve been coming here my entire life basically. My husband’s frames broke within 1 month of receiving them — we were 100% be honest about how they broke. He was sitting at work and they just popped as if the lens was too big for the frame, and the frame split on the bottom right corner. They didn’t even try to see if it was defective or factory issue, just stated it was good that we bought the protection plan to get 70% off. So on top of paying $1300 last month, we’re paying another $80 to fix the frames that broke completely on their own. They got their $80 but are losing lifelong customers sadly.
