Optom-eyes

I did not have an exam here, but my company gave me voucher for Prescription safety glasses. This is one of 4 places that takes these vouchers. The receptionist is very nice, professional, and welcoming. The selection of safety frame is decent. But the lab that handle their glasses work is different story hence the 3 stars only (-1 star for lab delaying my glass, -1 star because I did not have the exam here to review that part). I was told the job would takes 2 weeks. 3 weeks later, they told me my glasses is delayed due to an error in the lab's systems. The receptionist lady said she will contact the lab's supervisor to rush my glasses out ASAP. Today is 4th week, I called again to check status of my glasses and was told it will come on next Friday which makes it 5 weeks total for a simple computer's prescription. Whatever lab Optom Eyes chose to do their work needs to get better, or I would recommend Optom Eyes picking another lab for their glasses work. This will cause customer's frustration and not wanting to come back to Optom Eyes for their 2nd pair of glasses.

Glasses came in quickly AND fit perfectly! No adjustments were needed, which was a great relief. I enjoyed speaking with Dr. during my exam about my options. He was wonderful. Beyond better experience with Optum Eyes than big chain or other independent eye doctor offices! Highly recommend this hidden gem 💎

Young lady at the front desk is awesome! So helpful, it makes a difference when you cannot see well! Kindness goes a long way!God Bless!

Front desk lady (Anita) had an attitude with me because they did an automatic eye apt a year out from my last one and I was confused and wanted to cancel. This appointment somehow ended up being the exact day of my daughter’s eye specialist apt I had to reschedule for next week. I thought that’s who was calling. Never a good look to have the person who is the first one to talk to patients speak so rudely and entitled. Don’t understand why she took canceling so personal and as if it were a hardship to her.

Absolutely avoid. The person who did my eye exam was wonderful, but the optician was not. The billing is shady and they ended up charging me 3 times what insurance covers after they told me insurance would cover everything (I have no deductible and one free exam every year with my insurance). Go anywhere else, even Walmart is better than this. And at least they don't lie about their pricing structure.
