I've had an excellent experience with Optometrics of Chatsworth so far. Dr. Kathy Chriqui answered all my questions and provided very clear explanations during the eye exam. It was very straightforward. Additionally, the service was excellent. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Retina spent the time to help me pick out a pair of glasses that checked all my boxes and was within my budget. She let me try on as many glasses as I needed to, and even adjusted them if necessary to help me with my decision. She also very clearly went over the cost of each part of the exam, frames, lenses, coatings, etc. so I knew exactly what I would be paying. They were quick with the turnaround too; they initially said the glasses would be ready in 2 weeks and they were actually already done in just a little over 1 week. When I came to pick up the glasses, Retina and Gabriel were there to make any adjustments to ensure the glasses fit me well, with no problems. They also have a 1 year warranty, (which is longer than some other places that only do 6 months) and it seems worthwhile. They also gave me a cleaning solution, cleaning cloth, case, and told me best practices for cleaning tough smudges (Most other places I have been to just give a cloth and maybe a case...) It really feels like they go the extra mile compared to other places I have tried. Overall, so far I give 5/5 stars, and I'll update my review with more information after seeing how well the glasses hold up! 😊

Truly a wonderful practice, I’ve never been to an optometrist that didn’t rush the process. Cathy was truly a wonderful eye doctor that took time to care for my eyesight. Gabriel is the owner, he fitted my glasses, and got my lens fitted in less than 30 minutes. The team truly cares for their patients.
Dr. Chriqui is a wonderful optometrist who always gets my prescription 100% perfect, I've never had a pair of glasses make everything so crisp. The opticians and techs are so kind and always help find me the perfect pair, something I struggle with. Always a comforting and welcoming experience. Thank you!
I have been a going with the same Optician Gabriel for many years, and I cannot say enough good things about him and the entire optometry office. Gabriel is always professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely caring. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes every visit comfortable and stress-free. Over the years, he has consistently provided exceptional eye care and has always made me feel valued as a patient. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and efficient, making every appointment a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Optometrics to anyone looking for outstanding eye care. Thank you for the many years of excellent service!
I had a positive experience with this eye doctor. They communicated clearly with me and were very patient, especially since ASL is my first language. I appreciated the effort they made to ensure I understood everything during my visit. The eye exam and tests were much shorter than what I have experienced with other eye doctors in the past, which surprised me. Overall, the staff was friendly, professional, and respectful of my communication needs. The only downside was that the eyeglass frames were quite expensive, and most of the options were designer brands. Because of the cost, I decided to purchase my frames from another company where the prices were more affordable.
