Optometrist Inside LensCrafters

Wow, I never expected to walk into Lens Crafters today and be able to walk out with my repaired glasses , but of course , with the hard work of Gina and Justin l was able to do just that! I love working with justin because he always finds a way to make his customers happy, but I never expected him to be able to do that today! I was actually glad to see he was at work today and able to help Gina satisfy me beyond my expectations! I had broke the earpiece of my glasses in a manner that seemed to be unfixable.Therefore, I thought my glasses would have to be sent out to be repaired! Unbeknownst to me Gina, and Justin was able to send me home a happy, seeing customer with my new frames, and it initially didn't seem possible as for Gina had called the Rockford store to see if they had a frame to replace mine, but by the time the Rockford store responded Justin had already solved the problem and as I sit here typing this, I realize my headache from not having my glasses on is gone!!! I can't thank this store enough because I've been going to them for years, and I always get great designer glasses at reasonable prices, fitted nicely, and adjusted as many times as I can unadjust them, usually about 4 times a year! Anyways thanks so much Lens Crafters in Machesney Park!!! Justin is a Gem, and Gina, you're just as valuable that's why they keep you two around!!! If all the Lens Crafter store could be trained by you two, other eyewear stores would go out of business!!! I must say in my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice, "I'LL BE BACK"!!! Dr. Roberts might well have saved my eyesight. After experiencing a lot of floaters over the weekend, I went in Monday for an appointment. She initially diagnosed it as PVD, something that happens naturally and is relatively harmless. But then she saw something hiding up under my lashes in the images and wanted to do more pictures and dilate my eyes. Turns out I had a retinal tear, but since it was the end of the day, all the retinal specialists were closed. She sent in the order anyway and promised to call them in the morning to see where she could get me in. She knew I was scared and did everything she could to help. I wanted to hug her. First thing in the morning, I got a call from UW (who were also awesome, btw), and they got me in at 9:30. I got laser surgery to repair the damage that day, and was out of there in under two hours. These days, it seems no one wants to go the normal mile, let alone the extra one, but Dr. Roberts did that and more. Forever grateful.

Justin was so helpful and personable. The best experience I have had at the eye doctor. I was a tad hesitant about the remote doctor at first but I think he was more thorough about my exam then an In person doctor. I’m not sure of the name of the drs. Assistant that did my tests but she was so kind and informative. 10/10 experience. Will be back again.

The employees there were all extremely friendly and very attentive. The online doctor I saw for my eye exam was also very friendly, very informative and took the time to hear me and my needs. I will also say that the employees at this location listened to all of my needs and did not try to upsell anything to me. I will definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and family. I really did have such a great experience

I have used LensCrafters for years and this time I had a remote eye doctor. I was a little skeptical about it, but the experience felt very much like the appointments in the past, but with a screen and technician in the room. It was easy and convenient. Would definitely recommend.
