David at Lens Craftera was exceptionally helpful. I needed my glasses tightened which Sunglasses Hut wasn’t able to but David leaned in to help. He also guided me on the care for sunglasses which I really appreciated. Thank you, David - you were great!

Jasmine was super helpful and got me in contacts in a jiffy. She had a ton of patience as I fumbled the contacts around everywhere. Definitely recommend her for getting contacts for the first time! Now I don’t have to wear glasses for my wedding this weekend 🎉 GO JASMINE!!
I’ve purchased 2 pairs of glasses here. The glasses are great, love them. What I dislike is how they treat their staff.. it’s a whole blizzard outside. The mayor put out a travel ban until 12pm today. There’s very little visibility outside, yet they are forcing their NON ESSENTIAL WORKERS to travel in this weather. Considering the store already deals with frequent theft incidents, it’s surprising that management would prioritize staying open during unsafe conditions instead of protecting both staff and operations. How many customers do you think you’re getting today? It’s companies like this that let out crocodile tears about losing money but would rather WASTE money paying employees and electric bills by being open w/ no income returning. Stupidity and greed doesn’t prosper! To be clear: While I love the products, I strongly disagree with the decision to require staff to travel during an active blizzard and limited visibility conditions. Employee safety should come first, especially for non-essential services. Decisions like this raise serious concerns about how workers are valued.
Raudo was very courteous and helpful in fixing my glasses! I appreciated his attention to detail and his time. I would recommend this place to any eyeglasses wearer.
I’ve been a life-long customer of LensCrafters all my life. I went to 510 6th Avenue location on 11/20/25 in hopes of picking out new frames, as the process for me for selecting new frames is always a challenge. Jasmine was very helpful and pleasant however, this particular store has a limited selection of small petite-frames (Children’s), which seems to be universal at other LensCrafters stores. I chose a stylish Burberry frames in hopes of the frames making me feel like myself and as if it is 2nd skin. My major concerns are always trying to find frames that will conceal/minimize the appearance of my high-index lenses and myopia diagnosis, since birth. I’ve been wearing prescription eyeglasses for almost 40 years, and when I picked up my new glasses yesterday 11/28/25 the appearance, quality, and craftsmanship was unacceptable. The lenses were poorly made and unattractive. The lenses look me back 20 years or to the year I was born which was in the 80s. I never felt so self conscious with a pair of glasses from LensCrafters until now. I felt like a I was back in the 2nd grade. My image and appearance is everything to me. When I went to the store on 11/28/25 the gentleman that was assisting me seemed to be unaware, non-chalant, and insensitive to folks with high or myopia aka high prescriptions. The current frames and lenses I have now do not look like the attached pictures, and I know the desired look with the lenses and frames can be achieved, and my current glasses came form LensCrafters. I spent over $1k to be told because my prescription is high that’s the way things are which is a reality I refuse to accept, not if I’m spending my hard earned money. I will be contacting LensCrafters corporate office, as these new protocols with multiple stores not offering smaller options of frames is disheartening, insensitive, and discriminatory towards individuals with high prescriptions. I never felt so insecure in my life until now. I’ve asked for a refund for the 2 pairs of glasses I purchased, and this store stated they couldn’t produced a receipt at the time. I went to another LensCrafters location, and I couldn’t even use my insurance because the previous order was not refunded yet. The Gentleman at the store did seem to care or tried to assist however, on a whole LensCrafters opticians need to be retained and lenses makers in the lab need better training and tools to ensure lenses with high prescriptions are created to the best of their ability. Those with high perceptions don’t always want to revert to contacts or costly lasik or other eye surgery procedures. Update:12/725 - Please retrain opticians on how to guide customers to properly select glasses. When I made the return at this store the Staff member that was assisting me stated they would look around on the LensCrafters website to find similar or frames to the current pair I have now with the appropriate dimensions of 46-16-125… and I did a Google search this evening after going to a different LensCrafters store and was still dissatisfied with the lens quality and the frames (kids) still making the high-index lenses look too thick; to behold find pairs of Ray-Ban Kids glasses on the LensCrafters website that meet the desired frame dimensions. LensCrafters you need to reformat your website to expand the search options to include frame dimensions like websites such as Smart Buy Glasses and GlassesUSA. I just spent almost $300 out of desperation ordering any kids sized frames in the mentioned dimensions, and the frames are taking so long to ship from CHINA. I literally have invested so much time into find appropriate glasses that work great for my face size, shape, and prescription. All these details are crucial to glasses wearers. Please take what I wrote above into consideration! The issue still stands with lenses that are clearly not being made appropriately!!!!
