Dr Shreya Patel is very unaccomadating only wants money unfortunately! I had an exam for contacts October 2025, good for 1 year. I merely wanted to change my contacts to Dailies opposed to biweeklys. I came in last week to request the change, she wasnt there so I left a message. I called today and they told me the last time I was seen was 2019!!! I had my prescription in hand from last year so I came in and told them my request to change it from biweekly to Dailies. The girl at the front desk put the prescription in the computer because it wasnt in there(insane) then went back and asked the doctor could I change it. She came right back out and let me sit there for 35 minutes just to tell me she wont change it. "My prescription can only be changed if its within 90 days of the original exam." I was livid because I could have been told that from the beginning. I asked was this in writing somewhere bc I was unaware of that. I understood if I had a valid prescription I could use it and order contacts within 1 year. I wasnt changing the brand or PRESCRIPTION just biweekly to dailies. Dr Patel then came out and told me her 90 day rule(which im investigating)on prescriptions and she would need to do another exam to change to Dailies.I then asked the girl at the front why didn't she ask me if I wanted a new exam? Zero assistance or accommodation was being made for me and my time wasted. She then proceeded to run my insurance and told me she couldn't find it, all the while I have 2 insurance plans, I truly believe she said this bc they just wanted me to leave. After expressing my disappointment, I left. My family and I will not be back, I was only going out of convenience. Dr Patel's bedside manner was terrible before this horrible experience. She always rushed thru exams like she was checking out groceries and never showed any humane behavior, very mechanical. Very little to no eye contact when dealing with her patients. So it should come to no surprise she was unwilling to help me to be honest. The customer is very poor, staff is unfriendly and the doctor won't do anything without a fee involved, that includes simply saying hello. Go somewhere else.

I had a really disappointing experience with Crystal. From the moment I approached, she seemed bothered that I was there. There was no one else in the area at the time, so I’m not sure if my arrival interrupted something or if she was just having a bad day, but the interaction felt very unwelcoming and filled with attitude. I told her I was looking for some frames and lenses because I already my prescription. All she said was, okay. No guidance on where to start or where to look. Luckily I already looked online and knew what pair I wanted. At this point I almost walked out because it just felt like I was inconveniencing her...at her job. As someone who has worked in customer service myself — and with family members who also work in customer-facing roles — I make a conscious effort to be kind and respectful to employees. I was polite and simply looking for assistance, but the way I was treated made the situation uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the service was so off-putting that I decided to leave and call LensCrafters instead. The difference in tone and helpfulness over the phone was immediate and refreshing. It was disappointing because good customer service makes such a difference, and this experience really missed the mark.

Dr. Patel tried to scam me. I came in for an eye exam covered under my insurance. She tried to tell me my copay is $39 then she started asking who do I have med insurance through. That was a huge red flag for me. I was confused because I shouldn’t have had a copay. I asked the young girl working in front about that charge she said it’s for a retina scan that I didn’t consent or ask for. I told her I wasn’t paying for something I didn’t request and she removed it with an attitude . Avoid Ms. Patel !!!
