Optometrist Inside Target Optical

Had a great experience getting new glasses today at the Target in Metairie, LA. The sales associate “Dawson” was an incredible help. He helped me find glasses that were in my price range and fit properly. Not pushy at all, just a genuinely helpful guy who made the whole experience a 10 out of 10. He was able to clearly go over over my insurance coverage, maximized my benefits, and even made sure to apply any additional coupons/promotions I had available. Can’t say enough great things about him and the team at Target Optical.

Very slow service . On Saturday it was supposed to be open until 6 PM but the shop was locked at 5:30. I will find another optician. Specifically, I called Target Optical about hours of operation on the Saturday in question. I was told by the person answering that it would be open until 6 PM. After leaving my work I drove to Target only to find the optical department shuttered at 5:30 PM. It was a total waste of time. On Monday there was only one employee to serve a line of customers, which did not help my attitude or time. Eventually I did receive my glasses which are good quality.

I recently visited target optical on veterans for an eye exam and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Dr. Moses was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain each step of the exam, making sure I understood the process and answered all my questions thoroughly. The staff at the clinic were equally impressive. From the moment I walked in, they were friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable environment. Dawson, in particular, went above and beyond to help me find the perfect pair of glasses and sunglasses that fit my style and prescription needs. Overall, my experience at target optical was fantastic, I left with a new pair of glasses and sunglasses that I absolutely love!

Very fast service and the Doctor was amazing giving good advice. It had a good selection of glasses and I was happy I chose Target Optical for my vision needs.

I went to order my contact lenses there last week, and I can’t say how enough thank you to Dawson the staff who works there. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me, let me see all my options, I ordered 6 months supply, and with my insurance it was such a great deal. Then he asked if I would like to get a pair of glasses, but I wasn’t sure if my insurance would cover that. He looked it up for me and said yes it would, then I got to choose between at least 10 pairs of glasses as if I was shopping at the mall. He was patient, helped me pick the right pair, then adjust the frame and order it. I was so impressed by his excellent customer service and knowledge. He truly went above and beyond and it made my day. I’m already a target girl, but this was my first time using the optical department there, and it just makes me so happy to see young guys like him doing a great job and providing excellent customer care to everyone. Oh I forgot to mentioned, my contact lenses literally arrived the next morning that was super fast, and my glasses was ready after few days, on my to pick it up today. Thank you again Dawson for the excellent customer service and keep up the good work :)
