Optometrist Inside Target Optical

Stopped in hoping someone could help fix my college student’s glasses. Betta was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. She quickly was able to fix the glasses and get us on our way. So appreciate her kindness.

You have a fantastic employee--Betta B!! On Saturday morning, August 1, 2026, I needed an emergency repair to my eyeglass frames so I could leave on a long drive home after a visit. Betta was friendly, creative and competent as we considered options and she was able to make a temporary fix to the frames that got me home safely. I'm very grateful you have Betta working in your State College Optical shop --- Thank you!!

Betta and Brendan are amazing! They gave honest feedback on frame choices, helped me navigate any and all questions about my insurance and were pleasant and professional. I am extremely myopic and wanted to get frames to run in. They hunted down all the different choices and listened to my preferences. I was really happy with experience and recommend this Target Optical for its knowledgeable and helpful staff.

The appointment was prompt. The doctor and all of the office staff were so helpful and friendly. In addition to my appointment, I brought in my very doctor anxious mother. She was so nervous for her appointment but was able to get through because the staff was so patient with her. She got the care she needs and I am beyond relieved that she finally saw a doctor of any kind. I would recommend this office specifically for your entire family!

We came from out of state, we were in town for a sports event, my daughter forgot to bring her contacts (she needed them for her tournament ). On top of it all, her prescription expired. The saga of finding an optometrist to see her for a new prescription was stressful. Thankfully, Ms. Mary Beth Helsel was able to accommodate us. Dr. Brooke Shedlock was able to examine her. They were our saviors. We thank you very much for your help.
