I had such a great experience at For Eyes in Berkeley! Everyone was super kind and helpful from the moment I walked in. Reno, Chris, and Michael at the front were all so friendly and made me feel welcomed. Dr. Lam was very informative, patient, and took the time to answer my questions and help me throughout my exam. The entire staff made the process easy and comfortable found myself laughing and smiling a lot in office. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and would definitely recommend this location! Plus my glasses are already ready for pick-up less than I week! 😁

The For Eyes Team was very helpful in my last eye exam. I am getting older & they took the time to explain my options for contacts, bifocals and progressive lenses. I ordered new glasses with progressive lenses & I am excited to see how it works out!

This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to leave a review. My experience began with scheduling confusion. The office had previously called me the day before only 30 minutes before an appointment to say the doctor was running late and ask whether I could come later. I couldn't. So we rescheduled for 1pm the next day. Both me and my assistant sitting next to me during the call wrote it down. The next day While I was already on my way, I saw an email saying I had missed a 12:30 appointment. Given the previous last-minute change and the fact that I had 1:00 written down, I assumed scheduling was simply a little loose and decided to continue there. When I arrived, the staff was immediately dry and unwelcoming. I still completed the paperwork and tried not to read too much into it. The doctor then rushed me through the entire exam and seemed extremely impatient. When asking me questions about the lenses, he would often answer for me before I could clearly respond. There were also several small comments and interactions that felt uncomfortable. I still tried to warm up the interaction and mentioned that my wife had an appointment there the following week. At the end, he handed me a card and asked me to leave a review to support the business, without acknowledging how rushed or uncomfortable the appointment had been. Afterward, another employee asked whether I planned to buy glasses. I said I would look around, but no one offered assistance or asked what I needed. Eventually, I thanked everyone and began to leave. Only then did someone quickly call after me to mention that the glasses were 40% or 50% off. The entire visit felt cold, rushed, and unwelcoming. I could not shake the feeling that assumptions were being made about me based on my appearance, especially because I saw other customers being treated much more warmly. My wife will be canceling her appointment, and I will not return. hopefully its was just timing .....

I had a wonderful experience with the Four Eyes staff and Chris in particular who was incredibly helpful in getting my glasses fixed. I came in looking to buy a new set of nose pedals for my glasses after I lost one on a trip and Chris said no problem and happily replaced both of them form me so they wouldn't be uneven. I would definitely highly recommend this store!

I brought my wife and son for eye appointments yesterday, and everyone, including the Dr, were so friendly and professional. On top of that their selection of frames were great with reasonable prices. The three of us were in and out with frames picked out in no time at all. The photo is my son goofing around trying on different frames. The Superb-intendent 🍀
