First impression, all great things. Friendly, nice, clean. Then you get into important details. Like, they don't give you a copy of your prescription, that you paid for, unless you ask for it?! Never in my life have I came across that. Then, their website doesn't reflect their actual business hours and the "contact them" option doesn't actually work. When asked if they could scan and email me a copy of my prescription, because they don't give you your prescription or honor their posted business hours, you get told "Um, we don't do that". Like is there a policy!? A rhyme or reason?! Are you incapable of using the basic equipment required to do this? I don't get it. And BTW, $125 for lenses isn't a "deal" to make up for the expensive $200 plus frames you kept pushing at me.
My experience as a new patient was great! They're thorough but quick. The day I was there it was an all-male staff (not that it matters). Front counter, the doc, and the optician were friendly and competent. Doc picked up on my astigmatism. I've always had it but apparently my last visit to the eye doc at Wallyworld missed it. I wondered for the last three years if my eyes were getting worse very quickly. But it turns out I've been wearing the wrong prescription which kind of ticked me off. I can sure tell the difference with my new glasses though. (I'm not going blind after all lol) Anyway, they're great, and i give them a big thumbs up.🙂
Worst eye "doctor" in madras didn't to anything for my fiances eyes. Went to madras vison source and was told she has several things going on and has to see a specialist and needs better glasses. This place needs to be closed down. They said they were gonna order different lenses then what she got. Waste of time and money!!!!! All they want is your money!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!
They got me right in to sell me new glasses, but were three weeks out when I had a problem with my new glasses. Spent $550 on glasses that give me a headache, when I went back in they pretended not to understand the difference between "near" and "far". Just kept suggesting bi-focals when my problem is distance vision. (which was not an issue with my old single vision lenses.) Wasted my money and my time. Not good!
