Our appointments were today, & we'll never go back after the way Mark treated us when we asked for our prescriptions so we could comparison shop. He was rude to us, told us we took up two spots that could have gone to someone else, pointed at the door & told us that door swings both ways, & acted like we shouldn't ever come back. This all was said to us in front of other clients who also said Mark was rude to us.
I would give zero stars also if it were available. After many years with Dr. Thomason and Mark, I got much better staff service at a rival vision center nearby that had the added bonus of being significantly cheaper. I was tired of being treated as if I were a nuisance. The prescription they'd rather not give you only lasts a year, elsewhere it is two years. Again, not the doctor but his staff. I won't be returning.
This will be my go to optometrist from now on. I broke accidentally broke my glasses this morning, not only did they get me in (When nobody else could until next year) but they tried to repair my glasses, and are going to be able to get me new glasses by tomorrow. Their customer service was amazing. Shelby and the other woman working there are amazing. Along with the gentleman, that helped me pick out my glasses.
My experience was with Shelby and she was amazing! She helped me get all 3 kids in at the same time and before they went on vacation too! It was last minute and she made it work! Great customer service! She is definitely a keeper!
I have worn glasses since the 3rd grade, and contacts since high school. My vision is well below legally blind without correction and alllllllllll those years not a single optometrist ever gave me correction for my astigmatism. I genuinely believed that mild fuzziness was the best I would ever have until I came to Oregon Vision Center and Dr. Thomason. He diagnosed me almost immediately, patiently explained about astigmatism, and graciously heard me ramble on about how shocked I was to finally have clear-clear vision for the first time! I can't say enough how grateful I am for him and this team, thank you so much!
