I was very happy with the staff the first 3 times I brought my daughter. Then one gal had a baby (congratulations!!) However, in her absence, things went downhill. The new gal, didn't know how to even greet us. After sitting in the lobby for over a half an hr. With no response, I had a new address to report, we left. While we were waiting we heard a personal call. Then talking with the other office staff. Just no patient interaction. Another gentleman was waiting just for a return appointment to be made. When I left, he had been waiting over 20 minutes. It was quite unbelievable. Very unlike my previous appointments.

I had cataract surgery yesterday. The staff were be nice and worked to keep me comfortable. The procedure with Dr. Chang was over before I knew it thanks to light anesthesia. My eyesight is better much better already. I highly recommend this office.
I was referred to Dr. Stevens after visiting Urgent Care in Oroville. Came down with a case of shingles which caused double vision, I was a bit worried needless to say however as soon as I met Dr. Stevens I immediately felt at ease. He is personable, kind and smart. He was knowledgeable regarding my condition and left me with no unanswered questions. His staff was also very kind and helpful. My one suggestion would be to have the staff introduce themselves when they meet you, especially the assistant who performs the pre exam prior to the doctor coming in. It is basic respect to any patient, especially someone older, to give them your name plus that basic kindness does help ease any uncertainty they may be feeling. Besides that one suggestion, Dr. Stevens is a gem.
The adult white employee women was being disrespectful to me when I was just 17 year old. I was new to the appointment and a rude costumer was 5 feet away insult the glasses I picked for my reading glasses. One of the white employee comment about my reading glasses I picked and didn't dare look toward me. I felt unsafe because I'm Asian. This happen on January 17 2020 at 2pm.
