Very professional, short waiting time, experienced knowledgeable, kind. I get anxious in doctors, dentists , and in any medical situation. I was put at ease by the ophthalmologist and staff from beginning to end. Highly recommended for the whole experience. Dr. Higginbotham. Is retiring from a long distinguished career as a Medical doctor. He recommended a doctor to continue my care. I hope he has a great deserved retirement. Dr. Amir's staff were extremely professional and informative. Dane clearly explained each test he administered. He was efficient and patient. Dr. Amir was friendly upon meeting with me. It was obvious that he had read my chart from his conversation with me. He checked my dilated eyes and made various calculations. He explained how he felt cataract surgery on my left eye would improve my vision. He listened to me and briefly discussed the overall process, stating that a much more detailed discussion would happen during a pre-op appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Amir to anyone wanting a fully informed cataract consultation and evaluation.
This is a professionally run facility. I had cataract surgery there and was very nervous about having it. Jeremy my post op nurse reassured me, explained exactly what I would experience and stayed with me until I was brought into the surgery room. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable it was.
Embarrassingly, I confused my appointment time and arrived 2 1/2 hours early! The courteous and professional staff worked me in. They are an excellent team and I cannot say enough about how knowledgeable and kind Dr. Hulburd is. I highly recommend him as I know I am getting the best care for my eyes.
