I would give a zero but obviously can't. This hospital is the worst hospital to give birth. My niece had her twins here. To start with they made her not eat after midnight due to having a C-section the next day which is understandable however, not even starting the process until after 7 pm the next day is ridiculous. Then less than 24 hours later the babies were never taken to the nursery. When asked if they could take them for at least an hour so momma could at least take a nap since she has been up for over 24 hours we were told no they don't really do that. She is a new mom who had a C-section with twins she needs to rest. Asked if they give binkies for soothing and was told they could but don't recommend it as she is breastfeeding. And for the nurse to say " we are not really busy at night so maybe I could come in and help" is absurd. If y'all aren't that busy then please let a mother who has been awake for over 24 hours take a nap. So put babies in danger from an exhausted mommy trying to do it alone. It is a risk of her falling asleep accidentally and possibly dropping her baby. DO BETTER. Think of the mom and the babies. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL FOR ANYTHING.

If you are in pain this is not the hospital to come to. I came here in so much and at triage the pa asked no question I waited for 5 hours in pain with no medication. When I got to the room finally the doctor said that the pain will go away on its own. I asked if I could get some meds as the pain was unbearable she then offered meds and testing. After doing labs and getting the medication I felt no relief and I was feeling nauseous I was still in some much pain but because the doctor was leaving she had to discharge me. I have been unable to eat for the past 3 days and they could care less . All they wanted was to me leave with a pain level at 10 because the incoming physician did not want overnight patients. The nurse brought discharge paperwork and I informed that they never came to check up on me after I still felt a lot of pain she said “if you don’t leave we are calling officers because you can deal with it at home” she then leaves and shoves the door and the provider comes in from they day shift and he said even if you are in pain I have to send you home ?? Excuse me I have not been able to eat or drink since Saturday and I feel nauseous how can I drive home like this ? He did not care and called the officers keep in mind with an IV still in and no nausea medication. I will never be back here the PA pictures was laughing with the nurse because I was in pain. This provider should not practice medicine and the nurse should be nurses. I will never come back.

Today was the very bad experience of my life . My appoiment was at 10:30 am (pregnacy follow up )they ask me to come at 10 am still 12 pm noone call me , but new patoent come and left . I don't know if they attend to patient according to their name or relationship . And noone even tell me what was going one. I thank this sweet and caring staff "Tiffaney Miller " who saw how i was treated and call to ask about my case. But they didint care and keep me waitting for hours again.

I recently visited Parkland Health and was genuinely impressed by the level of care I received. The staff were attentive, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. The facility was clean and well-organized, and I felt like I was in good hands throughout my entire visit. Wait times were reasonable given how busy the hospital was. I would not hesitate to return or recommend Parkland to friends and family in the Dallas area.
