Wow. What a great experience. I was sent here when another clinic had to cancel my appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. I was apprehensive, but it was fairly easy to find, I didn’t really have to wait long and the staff was really wonderful from the security guard to the physician. Everyone was pleasant and professional, and my CCNA was simply delightful. I had an MA (I know there was another letter most likely distinguishing her certification) who gave me an injection I barely felt. I was treated with kindness and courtesy, they helped me with my problem, offering multiple options and I feel pretty good about the care I received. I will return if I ever need to and I definitely recommend it for your urgent care needs.

Our insurance only allows my daughter (a student at UO) two urgent cares to go to that are close to campus: peace health and BestMed. She has now been to both. BestMed has strange financial policies that seem downright illegal (charging us $100 prior to even seeing the patient? Stating the charge was a copay [our copay is 10%, so how would they know what the bill was going to be prior to seeing the patient?], then stating the charge is for our deductible not the copay [we had already paid our deductible, as well as out of pocket maximum for the year…it was November for goodness sakes], and now it is almost July and we have not received any sort of bill to know what they $100 charge was for). PeaceHealth had fair billing practices that followed lawful guidelines. Excellent caregivers. Xray capabilities. Hands down: they were better all around. Thank you PeaceHealth.
We have used best med since we got to Eugene. It is closer but won't go back. Their new check in process is stupid. It's like your a new patient every time you go? Limited on what they can do. We are moving all our needs to peaceheath. Real doctors and run very well. I recommend highly.
I went to PeaceHealth on 5/24 for dizziness and vomiting, the nurse who took me to triage was very condescending and started half laughing while I was answering questions. She then told me, “I don’t know why you decided to come to a fancy bandaid clinic instead of an emergency room” and when I told her that it was due to finances as well as the fact I’ve always gone to an urgent care for this she laughed. When I had informed her of my previous observations of polyps being present in my uterus, she told me she does not know what those are and asked me if I was sure I wasn’t mistaken. I told her I’m sure, she didn’t write it down and kept half laughing at all my answers to her questions. She shrugged and said she’d discuss with the doctor, but she was annoyed I drove myself to the hospital asking me “well don’t you have any friends or are you just alone” . Genuinely the worst care I’ve received.
Went in today because I can barely walk and got Morgan C Garvin who I refuse to address as a doctor for after a long wait in a room she strolled in covered in her mask and attire and as I tried to explain to her my leg she could not follow my conversation and kept trying to reimagine something from over 5 years ago and after explaining my career and activities she shifted toward advising how people need to vote for better careers and after much too much blabber I said that sounds like socialism and she then got aggressive in her political frustrations I sat in this room and thought I am trying to get care for not being able to walk and this so called health care worker just wants to cry about politics and she abruptly walked out and shut the door and I thought WTH was this all about and confusingly opened the door for I thought I was done and then the nurse or medical assistant came back and I asked to speak to another doctor because I really need to get my knee issue addressed and then the morgan garvin came back and tried to shift the blame on me and I told her that she was the one pushing socialism and she then said leave and I gladly did. FYI this is what socialists wants but will never get. DO NOT COME HERE FOR HEALTH CARE THEY JUST WANT TO PUSH SOCIALISM AND COLLECT MONEY FOR IT BUT NOT FROM ME.
