Wonderful experience. Was not rushed. All my questions and concerns were addressed. No high pressure sale. I was given a copy of my prescription without needing to ask for it. I was actually able to be seen the same day.
I have been doing business with Pearle Vision in Destin for decades, and this review is less about the business itself and more about one exceptional employee — Lulu Sanchez. Many years ago, I purchased a wonderful pair of Costa sunglasses that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, only a few months later, I had cataract surgery, and the prescription became far too strong for me to use. I went to Pearle Vision hoping to replace the lenses with non-prescription lenses in my Costa frames. At the time, however, we were deep in the Covid pandemic, and Costa had suspended lens replacements until things settled down. Fast forward several years later — my eyes changed again, and I found myself needing corrective lenses once more. I stopped by Pearle Vision to see if Costa had resumed lens swaps and was thrilled to learn that they had. Lulu spent a great deal of time helping me search online for my frames, only to discover they had long since been discontinued. Seeing my disappointment, she refused to give up. Lulu personally called the Costa lab to explore possible solutions, and through her persistence, she found a similar frame whose lenses would fit mine perfectly. These were not inexpensive lenses — progressive prescription lenses on a curve, something only Costa makes — but they were absolutely worth it. I am beyond delighted to have my “new again” Costa sunglasses back. They are perfect for fishing, beach days, and biking. Thank you, Pearle Vision, for employing such a kind, caring, and God-fearing person. Lulu Sanchez truly went above and beyond for me, and I am deeply grateful. In His Grip,Marilue
The ladies at Pearle Vision Destin were VERY NICE, Pleasant to work with, Very Knowledgeable, Let me Pick & choose ( I’m old & on the spectrum, sometimes not easy to deal with ) they made me feel much more comfortable. I found what I needed easy enough & had an overall Excellent experience, thank you
The doctor was very good. Ms Riggs was very detailed and informative. However the front office at checkout was confused and put options on the lenses without asking. Had to go over bills for me and my husband line by line. Glasses my husband picked read 239.99 on the tag and I was charged 299.99. Clerk was unable to change price and I am waiting for store manager to call. It's been 2 days. I am waiting until Monday and will call again.
