Everyone is very helpful there. I’m not thrilled that it has been a month since my daughter’s appointment and she still doesn’t have her glasses. Every time I call they tell me they are not in and not sure how much longer. I went 3 wks after her appointment and already got my contacts! I would appreciate a better answer than we will call you. We made this appointment thinking she would have her glasses way before school , apparently not!!!

Dr. Massengill is amazing, this was my 2nd year using their services for eye care and prescription frames & lenses. Dr. Massengill is thorough, listens to her patients, and addresses concerns with genuine education. The glasses tech that helped me was bubbly and helped me understand my insuance coverage to make sure I was getting the best deal I could afford, without me even having to ask (i wish I could remember her name because she was the only staff member besides the doctor who was warm). Other reviews about some staff seeming really unhappy to be there are true but it's just a vibe, no one was overtly rude to me. It also appears they are training staff which can be overwhelming so I didn't take it personally. My glasses were ready less than a week later and service was just as fast last time which was very surprising because they are busy!

I have been a patient of Professional Eye Care since they opened they're door in Roseboro and since then Dr Max Raynor's health has gotten worse with age but his mind is still razor sharp however the peofessialism has deteriorated to where you barely to hardly ever speak to a human being and Klara and leaving a voicemail is useless when it takes 3 hours for a patient to getting service with an issue and put on hold for 3 or more minutes just to be told someone else will be calling you back and and getting your glasses back takes 8 to 14 weeks because your eyes aren't important as it is for Professional Eye Care to wait for 8 or more pair of glasses from NC Medicad to save on postage and shipping now. Since the Associates are running the office instead of Dr. Max Raynor was because to them saving money is far more important than the patients are now

Front desk needs work to be a little more kind and peopley. No good morning, no how are you, NOTHING! Not even a smile. Kindess really goes a long ways! Especially in this crazy world! Their attitudes could’ve been my final straw. Also think that there should be a sign in sheet for patients to check in instead of standing in front of the desk waiting to be acknowledged or saying our private information out loud. Only leaving a 3 star because the MA’s and providers are extremely pleasant to be around.

As a customer, I'm not worth $150. I purchased new shade glasses, and new lenses for my current glasses (over $500). I wanted to try the lenses in my regular glasses without bifocals. The assistant helping with frames addressed my fears. I was told as long as I returned within 60 days, the lenses would be covered free of charge, and I could go back to bifocals. I tried to wear them for just over a week. Unfortunately, I need my bifocals back. When I returned, I was told I would be charged for this. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable. I asked to see someone to discuss this. The office manager came to review this with me. She acknowledged there may have been a communication issue between the assistant and I. However, I was responsible for the $150 fee. Not going to happen. In my original visit, I asked multiple times to confirm this. I was told not to worry about it. The office manager refused to work with me. I'm a business owner with employees as well. When mistakes happen, sometimes you do what's best for the situation. This office made a mistake. When it was apparent resolution would not be met, I asked the office manager was this worth losing a customer over. She would only repeat saying, "you said that, not me." Regardless, she was firm and would not cooperate. No alternatives were given. Pay $150 or keep what you have. At this point, I asked for my records. The manager continued to disagree. At this point, we're done talking, I just want my records. The doctors are fine. However, when reading previous reviews, it's obvious I'm not the only one receiving negative feedback from staff. When I asked to please just give me my records and the office manager continues to argue.....there's your problem. When the "manager" has issues, the attitude spreads. UPDATE - Dr. Massengill did follow up with me by phone call. She did acknowledge her staff may have misrepresented the lens policy. However, it's my responsibility to pay due to their policy. Their error, my problem. Got it. Over $150 issue caused by them, not $1500. Remember the 60 days lens exchange from above? Am I frustrated, yes! They made a mistake. Acknowledged they could have made a mistake. Yet, it's my cost. All over $150.
