I’m currently on my 14th day here after being flown in from Big Spring on a chopper after my body completely shut down. Overall I have been really impressed with the team work and level of care I have received thus far. I’ve had a couple of nurses I didn’t get along with very well, but I’m not always the most pleasant person either. The other 95% were absolutely fantastic. Even the food is pretty good! I am eternally grateful for the care and support I received here. Keep up the great work!

Christmas Day & nurses were friendly & acted happy to be here even tho we all know they wish they were at home with their family!! I appreciate the time they spent on me. I thank them al!!!
It's Wed June 3rd, 2026 and I had to go to the ER around 4 pm for what I suspected was a kidney stone. I went there and those people are awesome. They treated me fairy and with decency despite not having insurance. They did not treat me like a drug addict or default to that assumption when I was in severe pain (the stone made a pass while I was in the room waiting on the doctor) it was agonizing. I am from Georgia and things are totally different there. They weren't fake either...or just "doing their job". They were all very courteous and professional
This place is a joke! They let my dad sit so long with a blocked bowel and he was in the hospital 3 times before they sent him to lubbock but by that time it was too far gone and he passed! The people here need to be trained in compassion and have more medical training to actually save lives! If you ever end up here just tell them to get you to lubbock ASAP or you will get worse and worse!
Obviously an emergency room visit is an expected wait, but upon getting to a room and being met with the rudest Dr I have ever been around, will not ever come back thanks to Dr. Neil Robert Slater. Talk about lack of beside manner, this man was absolutely awful and I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with him alongside an emergency situation.
