Petelin Vision

April 15,2026- My husband and I decided to change providers b/c of dissatisfaction with previous ones. The previous providers were knowledgeable but more is required for a great dr/patient experience. The less than 2-3 hour wait, the warm friendly caring environment, the thought to make surgery the last option and the way they do NOT treat you like part of the herd are several of the things that make us ecstatic that we made the change!! Dr Amico and Dr Zimmerman are great. They are patient, knowledgeable and professional. Though you can see that they are busy, they never make you feel rushed. From the front desk to the front door we were surprised and pleased .

From the very First time I walked into the office. the receptionist are warm inviting and awesome, the lead receptionist, (I apologize for not remembering your name) definitely knows her job and does it with grace. All the nurses are very professional at their jobs, respectful and friendly, Than you meet your doctors. I had Dr. Zimmerman and Dr. Karina, I can’t say enough about these two they answered all my questions calmed my fears because getting eye surgery is a big deal. I had cataracts removed in both eyes. I appreciate their canter, they make you feel like you matter not just the next patient. I would recommend Petelin Vision to anybody I know. I would like to thank you all for making my visits comfortable.

My husband got metal in his eye at work, he works in a metal shop so this wasn't the first time. We learned the first time that urgent care and the emergency room are not the right place to go for an eye injury like this, but it's kind of an emergent issue, Petelin understood the urgency and even though we were brand new to their office they got us in first thing in the morning. My husband said he barely noticed while she removed the metal and last time he had it done it was very painful and a traumatic experience for him. This was so much better and we definitely recommend them and we will be going back to them! Everybody in the office was so friendly. It was a great experience.

The staff is very thorough in their work. Dr. D’Amico makes it easy for the patient to understand what is going on and clearly explains the plan of action for the patient’s condition. She would even present alternatives or resources that are completely unknown and highly beneficial to the patient. Clearly, Dr. D’Amico is very focused on providing quality patient care and I would highly recommend this clinic to my friends and relatives.

I have tried all kinds of eye doctors. I have astigmatism, I have one round and one flat eye, I have one oval and one round eye. The service I received was incredible, I walked out with contacts. I’ll be 67 years old had Lasik about 30 years ago and I now do not have to wear glasses again for distance or reading due to the help of Petelin Eye Center.
