I had a wonderful experience at Pikes Peak Eye Care! The office was spotless, and everyone on the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. Dr. Jason M. Jost took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. I truly appreciated how attentive and caring he was throughout the entire appointment. I left feeling well-informed and confident about my eye health. I’m very happy with my visit and would highly recommend Dr. Jost and Pikes Peak Eye Care to anyone looking for excellent eye care!

Pikes Peak Eye has been my eye care for the last few years, getting annual exams and occasionally asking doctor to find the soft lens that is off center and lost somewhere in my eye. Easy to make appointments when needed, on time, pleasant staff at counter and with doctors. Always a good experience. I do recommend.
After over a decade at a very good but very large practice, I decided to try Pikes Peak. I was able to get an appointment immediately without months of waiting , and the receptionist actually made eye contact with at me when she checked me in. I didn’t feel like I was just a number. The entire staff are very professional and kind. You can tell they enjoy working together and care about the comfort of their patients. I am so happy I found these folks.
Love the eyeglass section but Dr. Worthen is a negative Nancy! She is not patient with my 8 yr old, she treats people like a germ and because my son needed a stronger prescription, she makes us feel like his whole could be ruined. She offers a family on CHP Plus expensive eye drops that we could never afford. The other staff members are awesome and helpful!
I went in for an eye exam on January 31, 2026. Progressive glasses were recommended. I selected the frames and ordered the glasses. The first time I picked them up, the optician didn't check or test anything. He just said "you'll figure it out." They did not work. The reading space was WAY too low. They offered to remake them. The second time I picked them up, I made sure to test them out at the clinic. Again, they did not work. The reading space was still WAY too low. Frustrated, I have requested a refund. I did sign a form stating that there is a 30% restocking fee, but I don't feel that should apply to glasses that never worked. I requested a full refund. I contacted the clinic numerous times, but I never got a call back from the appropriate people. I don't feel that I should have to pay any portion for glasses that I don't have and that never worked. In addition to all of that, they had recommended additional testing for my eyes which was done on February 12, 2026. I was under the impression that it would be covered by insurance as I was never presented with an estimate of costs. I found out after the fact when I received a bill in the mail that I had to pay $164 that was NEVER disclosed to me ahead of time. Find another optometrist – do NOT use this clinic.
