I want to address an issue that occurred during my appointment today. I arrived on time, checked in, and waited quietly for my turn. Despite this, I was skipped and another patient who arrived after me was taken first without any explanation. This was unprofessional and dismissive behavior by Dr. Stephanie. I expect to be treated in the order I arrive unless there is a clear medical reason communicated to me. I am requesting that this concern be acknowledged and that steps are taken to ensure this does not happen again.

I first went there in the summer of 2025, I purchased glasses and contacts. I recieved my contacts within about a week but it took almost 3 months for me to receive my glasses. They gave some excuse about the lab placing a hold on medicaid glasses. To which I informed them, I don't have medicaid. My insurance was through my employer and even after insurance I stoll paid $400 for my glasses. I said I would NEVER order glasses from them again. Fast forward to January 10 2026 I went there and ordered more contacts to which I paid $100 and here it is February 14th and I still have not recieved my contacts. I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!!!
I CANNOT believe this place even has a pathetic 3.0 review rating... I called 4 x's within a 3 minute period, after someone picked up and hung up immediately the first time, I recorded the next 3 calls when the same exact thing happened... someone just picking up and immediately hanging up the phone. I call back and finally a Ms. Robinson answers 30 seconds after my last call and she claims she never answered any of the previous 4 calls I just attempted to make to them AND she surely didn't have any idea who it could have been... then I ask, how much are progressive no line bifocal lenses when I bring my own frame into the store, she said $350... that's as ridiculous as the fact she or some ghost in her office played the pick up and hang up the phone game 4 x's first... Call Miami Optical if you want to save some money, $75 dollars for no line bifocal lenses all day every day. $350 - $75... you'll obviously save $275 OR, you'll get 2 pair plus go home with $50 in our pocket as opposed to getting screwed over by the store who'll also hand up on your 4x's before finally answering their phone. This place is a disaster, RUN to AVOID or get screwed over.
Please do not come here save yourself the headache I had a very frustrating experience at Plano Vision Center. I arrived on time for my appointment and still waited nearly 4 hours, which is unacceptable—especially with children. The office was also freezing due to no heat, yet appointments were still being seen without any adjustments. Previously, my children’s glasses took 2 months to arrive after being told 7–10 business days. They never originally placed the order I had to have another person put the order in again. Recently, I received a text saying new glasses were ready, D only to come in and be told they weren’t there due to a system error—no real apology or solution was offered. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told the doctor (who is the manager) didn’t want to see anyone. Very unprofessional. Overall, poor communication, long wait times, and lack of customer care. I would not recommend.
Horrible, horrible, horrible I took my mom for an exam and it was almost 3 and half hours. Then a month later never received glasses and no paperwork of eye exam. This place is horrible
