Precision Optical of Florida

I am traveling. Unfortunately my frames got out of wack and my lens kept popping out. I stopped by Precision Optical and the doctor fixed my glasses right up. It’s not a permanent fix but it should get me home if I’m careful. I would definitely be back if I didn’t live across the country. He definitely had some styles I would like to try on.

I visited Precion Optical on 7/2/25 after a very bad experience with a different optical center. Britney greeted me warmly and helped me fill in various forms. She proceeded with an eye test. We were talking candidly as if we knew each other for years! I then saw Dr. Shroud who completed the eye exam and put drops for dilation. I then saw Tammy who assisted me with choosing a frame and we discussed my prescription eyeglasses. She explained that there was a warranty for any damages that may occur with a100% coverage and replacement of frames and lenses within the first year!!! I purchased them immediately. I then returned to Dr Shroud who performed the glaucoma exam. All three of these ladies were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They are also very time efficient. I had a “no waiting “ experience as I traveled from station to station. Five stars isn’t enough! This was an enjoyable experience and one I will treasure!! Thank you for everything!!

Such a friendly and helpful staff and Dr. Stroud is exceptional in the quality of care I received. From Pam at the front desk, to Tammy who works with your insurance company to Robert who helps fit the glasses - everyone is very knowledgeable and kind. I have recommended several friends to this practice. Highly recommend for quality eye care.

We have been coming here for 6 years. This clinic is working well on all fronts. There is a big improvement over the past couple of years. Dr. Stroud is very professional and answers all of our questions. The opticians know their way through the various insurance issues and got us the best deals on frames and lenses. I recommend Precision Optical!

I have been in a lot of optical places in the past 20+ years, and this is the first and only place I have received such outstanding service from the time I walked in til I received my glasses, and even after getting my glasses!! Tammy was thorough, her attention to detail was something I personally have never experienced in a optical business. Incredible service!! Once I find a place that treats me like family, they will have a loyal customer from now on. Thanks Tammy and Pam for everything.
