Dr. Bindi is the BEST eye doctor I have ever had treat me! She took the time to figure out what was going on with my eyes, unlike the previous docs I had seen, and found cataracts which was impeding my vision. Thanks to her, this mid 40’s gal can see perfectly again! Thank you so much, Dr. Bindi, for taking the time to treat me. I will continue to tell everyone I can about you and your amazing service. Oh, and her office staff is pretty awesome too! 😎

Front staff are absolute perfection. accommodating, professional, knowledgeable, and likable. Dr. Bindi is always fantastic: very sweet, professional, and knowledgeable. One thing I truly loved is that she listens fully. She hears you out, asks clarifying questions, and then responds appropriately(whether agreeing or disagreeing) based on the full context and her expertise, always explaining why. This makes sure patients feel heard, corrected when needed, and always educated. I cannot recommend her enough. Sadly, this time—after years of seeing Dr. Bindi—I was scheduled with the male doctor instead. The experience was deeply frustrating. He makes assumptions, and when corrected, he ignores you. He regularly talks over you and dismisses relevant medical history and concerns. To be fair, I did listen when he corrected some inaccuracies in what I’d heard, and I appreciated the new information. For context: Dr. Bindi had told me I have a single weak optic nerve. During this visit, I learned both are thin—no big deal. But when I mentioned this to the front staff as relevant history, the doctor later repeated it back to me with a look as if I was lying. Even though he could see Dr. Bindi’s old notes in the system, just as the front staff had. Then he kept insisting there was no reason to think I had glaucoma, since there were no signs, and said I should stop assuming that. I agreed with him. Multiple times. I told him it was never something I worried about. I had never even mentioned it, because it wasn’t a real concern or relevant. But he kept repeating that I don’t have glaucoma and shouldn’t think so, as if I hadn’t just agreed. When I reiterated that my thin nerves were likely harmless and due to another condition (something both Dr. Bindi and two of my primary care physicians had confirmed, and which made perfect sense to me), he ignored that too. Then, bizarrely, he seemed adamant about referring me to a glaucoma specialist?? Despite just making a big deal about the opposite. I said no thank you. He said okay, but to call later if I needed it, seeming almost disapproving that I wouldn’t. I have no clue what his goal was with any of this glaucoma talk. Throughout the visit, my actual input and concerns were either ignored or treated as if I was being ridiculous or wasting his time. These same concerns were addressed and managed by Dr. Bindi years ago, and since then confirmed by two other optometrists and two neurologists. As we theorized, my real issue is likely neurological, with optical effects as a side effect. He never really acknowledged that. Just kept mentioning glaucoma. And when I properly mentioned the neurological context in response, he said he didn’t know about that information and acted as if I might be making it up. If he were Dr. Bindi, I’d have volunteered records from my neurologist, but those had already been shared with her—and I knew someone like him would never actually care or listen, even with proof. It felt scummy. Sketchy. It reminded me of a scam practice I once visited out of desperation and had to walk out of. they tried to claim I needed only half my distance prescription and no near correction. When I went elsewhere (not sketchy or upselling), sure enough, my eyes still required the full prescription and bifocals. Go figure. I’m not saying this doctor is a scammer like those men—he’s in an accredited, legitimate practice. But he will not listen to you in the slightest if your situation is even mildly out of the norm, or perhaps simply because he took a dislike to me. I honestly don’t know what the issue was. But it was bad. I’m going to pay to get my annual exam done again somewhere else, because I don’t trust him to have my best interests in mind. That’s deeply disappointing. If you get him, be cautious—and if things feel off, just leave and request Dr. Bindi instead. It’s truly not worth the effort or money. And my copay is only $29, so that’s really saying something. Do not recommend. No idea what flew up his skirt. A truly negative experience overall.
This place has amazing service. All staff was really nice, caring and patient. Special shout out to Ashley for helping my daughter learn how to put contacts in. My daughter was struggling and feeling anxious but thanks to Ashley she was able to put the contacts in and take them out. With her help she gave her the confidence that she needed. We can't thank Ashley enough
no waiting just only to sanitize the equipment and then they get you right back. Dr Desai was good at explaining and taking the time too, even the questions I had. I didn’t feel like I was rushed.
I went to Princeton Family Eye Care yesterday with no appointment because I was having some allergic reaction and even though they were fully booked after explaining my situation they were bale to get me in and get me the medication I needed, their customer service is absolutely amazing. Thank you all.
