I am so impressed with Dr. Jim Costello and his very welcoming team of women, some of whom have worked with Jim for decades. The top quality glasses I have purchased there help me see for my reading and the other pair for long distance. Jim also was immediately available when I had an eye emergency several years ago. He has helped me find outstanding eye surgery specialists in our area. He is THE BEST in his field and always has the time for all his patients.

My last exam and order was at a national chain, so I figured I'd support local businesses and splurge to get a pair I really liked. Got an exam and ordered a pair 02/21. Was told it would be a few days and they may arrive by the end of the week. Didn't hear back the next week, didn't hear back the following week. After calling, I was told my order would be ready 03/07. Picked up my glasses and as soon as I got them home and cleaned, I realized there was a pinpoint dot in the coating on one lens. Came back to drop them off to be repaired on 03/09. Was told they'd be repaired in a few days. Called 03/16 and was told they'd call me back. Called 03/17 after not hearing from them and was told that "maybe they'd be ready by the end of the week". I did everything right. I went to a local business, I spent almost $500, I called every step of the way to remind them. I got FAR better service at a chain and it was free. Last time I ordered glasses I spent nothing out of pocket and they arrived in a week and a half. It's been almost a month, I paid $500, and I still don't have my glasses. And no one who works here returns phonecalls. Don't patronize this shop. The service is worse than a chain and in the four times I've had to visit the store, no one has been in it. Small wonder.

Dr. Costello is the nicest, kindest, most considerate doctor. He remembers my kids and asks about them each visit, is considerate when it comes to cost and finding coupons or rebates to save money and I always come away feeling like he’s thought of every possible scenario to help my ever-changing vision needs. He’s so incredible!!
