My husband came in for a yearly examination. ( I normally see another doctor at another clinic) Upon trying to get my prescription filled at another eye glass store I was informed my prescription was incorrect. I informed them my prescription was bifocal. The prescription was written without the bifocal ands the strength was written double to my previous strength. The clinic was called and we were told they would send another prescription with a bifocal. They were informed that since they they made an error on prescription by not adding bifocals to say that prescription strength is correct as well. Advised that they needed not to charge due to the fact that We were gonna have to go to another eye clinic to make sure that the prescription is written correctly before glasses are purchased. We were told he We would still have to pay for incorrect bad service!! What if this had been a cardiologist writing a wrong prescription and medication was taken? This is not good that these physicians could not get a prescription correct and still charge the patient for bad service!!
